Multiple factions gathered to protest the exhibition. A topless woman from the Femen protest group, who had "life in plastic is not fantastic" written across her bare chest, burned a Barbie doll tied to a cross. A pink-clad man wearing a blond wig had a sign that said "Do you like me now?" draped across his neck. Others held signs with phrases like "Dear Barbie - don't just bake cupcakes, eat them too!" and "I will free you from the horror house."

They recently opened one of these in Florida. It is for little kids to play, explore and use their imagination. They are not being taught to be like a toy doll. That comes from bad parenting and our famous Hollywood anything goes agenda. You pay a fee to get in the place/doll house. Protest the abortion clinics that do late term abortion killings if they want to make their lives useful.

Actually Barbie was orignianally conceptualized as a German sex toy.

Many girls grow up dissatified with their bodies not because of Barbie but because of the sexualization in the media, music and entertainment industry.
That, plus the abject and utter neglect by parents to monitor and steer their girls to interests and activities other than narcissistic body image.

There are a lot of dolls with accsessories. Me and mine, we used less toxic toys. Each to her own.
The most toxic toy out there now is the computer and internet.
FYI, my kids are all engineers and some are developers which goes beyond computer programming.
They will NOT allow their children to use the computer until they are much older. That goes for Ipads too.
The most toxic thing one can do is give a child access to computers instead of books.
My kids were not allowed to view anything I didn’t see first in reading and media.
It is the MEDIA and entertainment that is destroying children.
