Corruption: The inspector general's report on the IRS targeting of conservatives makes it seem like a case of bureaucratic bumbling. But the more we learn, the more it looks like a concerted effort to hobble Obama's political foes.
'Inappropriate criteria," "insufficient oversight" and "lack of managerial review." That's what led the IRS to target hundreds of conservative groups for intrusive, costly and lengthy scrutiny during their application for tax-exempt status, according to the IG report released on Tuesday.
In other words, it wasn't a politically motivated attack on conservative groups during a presidential campaign. It was just a case of some bad wording and a lack of good bosses.
Except that, as details of the IRS scandal emerge, it's increasingly giving the appearance of a wide-scale effort to tilt the playing field against conservative activist groups...

Ques: How many days before Benghazi did Obama say "alqueda is on the run"?
TRY??? Hell all of those conservative groups could not fund raise to get their message out. Obama might have won anyway, but it was not a level playing field, not by a long shot.
My filipina wife remembers Marcos and she says this is the same thing.
Well, with the repeated attempts to intimidate Obama’s political opponents followed by...months later... a lame apology?
Uh... YEAH.
I've heard the same from former Eastern European asylum seekers from during the Cold War. They left communism in the 1980s and it followed them here.
If that is true, we will have to add election fraud charges to the charges of abusing IRS power by the Obama Administration.
Obamas IRS locked out 500 conservative tea party groups out of contributing to the 2012 election . So democrats/socialists stole the Senate and the presidency by intimidating would be conservative donors and groups into not participating. Obamas IRS denied conservatives the right to participate in the election and politics. and they stole the election to further damage America and its people
Obama’s IRS shut down conservative groups and the tea party movement . So democrats/socialists stole not only the Presidency but also the Senate in the 2012 election

We definitely lost a few Senate Seats that we could have won if tea party groups were allowed to get out the vote.So the democrats/socialists stole the senate. Conservative voter turnout was down my millions from 2008 .that makes no sense. it should have been up by millions . but IRS made sure it wasn’t
SUPPRESSING THE VOTE---But the Cincinatti IRS office (which seems to have done most of the hands-on dirty work) is the one that controls all the battleground states that Obama needed to win in the last election.
Obama's own political support organizations (even outside of the country!) got fast-tracked........BUT any organization he thought might oppose him in those crucial states got silenced or prevented from collecting funds during the time leading up to the elections......to suppress the vote.

Hatch Act rules.
IRS govt employees involved in this were using govt office for political activity. They violated the Hatch Act---and are subject to criminal penalties.

So, who will prosecute the federal law violations?
Who is going to enforce the law? And how?
At the least we need a law stating that any government employee, at any level, who is found guilty of using their government position to influence an election automatically is sent to prison for 15 years without chance of pardon or parole.
Between voter suppression and voter fraud, the Dem’s have a well oiled machine in place.
Something called the “Office of Special Counsel” and the “Merit Systems Board” enforce the Hatch Act. I believe these are appointed by the President, and generally protect civil servants at the expense of the public.
