Would You Believe The Administration Got Phone Records of The House Of Representatives?
Hot Air ^ | May 15, 2013 | Duane Patterson

That’s the revelation made by California Congressman Devin Nunes, who sits on the House Ways And Means Committee on Hugh Hewitt’s Show Wednesday night. Here’s the key part of that transcript:

HH: The idea that this might be a Geithner-Axelrod plan, and by that, the sort of intimation, Henry II style, will no one rid me of this turbulent priest, will no one rid me of these turbulent Tea Parties, that might have just been a hint, a shift of an eyebrow, a change in the tone of voice. That’s going to take a long time to get to. I don’t trust the Department of Justice on this. Do you, Congressman Nunes?

DN: No, I absolutely do not, especially after this wiretapping incident, essentially, of the House of Representative. I don’t think people are focusing on the right thing when they talk about going after the AP reporters. The big problem that I see is that they actually tapped right where I’m sitting right now, the Cloak Room.

Obama, Biden, Holder, Clinton , all of them need to be impeached by Congress.

The Obama administration wiretapping Congress ? this is worse than Watergate 10 fold.

Wow!!

Is this real?

I can imagine Congress not caring about a few AP reporters. I’m sure the dems don’t care about Tea Partiers and neither do the RINOs, but this hits them close to home.

Not only that, but even if there were just a few targeted, how can they be sure? First the Republicans. Then a dem or two who didn’t vote as he was told, ....

Who’s next?

Just to clarify, the obtained phone record showed only who’s calling whom at what time?

No actual content was included?

What we have is evidence of a willingness to do whatever they deemed necessary to get their way. Not a month ago we learned a senator’s office was bugged. Congressional Republicans had better consider the possibility that all of their conversations have been recorded. I’m not suggesting we accuse them without evidence. Instead I am suggesting we cannot take their word as to the extent of their malfeasance.

per homeland security, they have all the phone conversations. everybody, everywhere. given the information that the phone records provide, I bet they sure has hell could find out about the calls contents.

You almost expect to see something like this before Obama leaves office.

Last night at 23:37.12 32 nuclear warheads were targeted and launched into Russia. 27 warheads impacted and destructed on impact. However, five warheads operated as designed causing major destruction under where they detonated.

Reached for comment this morning, Obama was unable to say who had fired off the nuclear warheads. His staff is checking into it as we go to air...

27 nuclear warheads having been ordered to stand down (in effect), and this not being able to take place unless the POTUS presidential codes are used, it is baffling that Obama has no clue..., once again.

Senator Reid, Representative Nancy Pelosi, and a pastle of past Obama supporters labeled this another Tea Party conspiracy, almost as dire as the one reportedly launched against Hillary Clinton years ago.

It’s all so unfair to the Democrats, specifically Obama.

The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and a myriad of other papers exonerated the president today.

Speaker Boehner said he understood how this could happen, and upon hearing that John McCain said, “You betcha!” “Hee yaaa!”

Maybe congress will finally start to realize that the US Intelligence-National Police apparat is very much out of control.

The US Intelligence Community include 16 major intelligence agencies.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_intelligence_community

And over 100 federal police agencies.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_law_enforcement_in_the_United_States

The trouble is that there is only need for a small amount of this intelligence and police work, and the rest is becoming more and more intrusive, because otherwise they would have nothing to do.

They don’t have enough real enemies, so they are turning on their friends.

His sentence is a little confusing. For sure they have the record that reporter A spoke to Congressman B. But do they have the transcript of what was said?

To answer myself:

"The phone records don't include the substance of the calls — they're just a written tally of who called whom and how long the calls lasted." (Source: NPR)

Omg! Everyday its something new and even bigger than the day before. This is just unbelievable. How long before people wake the heck up and realize we have some major crimes occurring at the highest level government?
And WE all know where the buck stops.

This now makes sense as this was in may during the Holder contempt hearing.. I saw the wire tap included the phone line into the capital used by the AP.

Will anyone be surprised if we learn they did more than obtain records? #taping

Boehner and Gingrich have some experience with this. Does anyone think that it was really the harmless couple from Florida that taped their telephone conversation back in the 90's? Yes, I know it is old news, but I have never believed for a second that it was that couple, but instead the Clinton admin using the government to do their dirty work.

In fact, that’s criminal prosecution after removal from office.
