Notice he did not mention Benghazi.
Obama is more than happy to have these other two scandals suck all the air out of the Benghazi balloon.
Notice you have Obama team members like Axelrod and Robert Gibbs also making comments on these scandals.
This is coordinated.

As stated on another thread: “flares and chaff”. Benghazi scares him to death.

Tax cheat Rangel wants more answers from Obama regarding IRS abuses.
Incredible.

Thanks for popping my balloon. ;)

C-Man 55,
I didn’t read your post before I posted mine, but obviously, great minds think alike.

This is coordinated. I read somewhere that the question that lead to the IRS person acknowledging and apologizing for the illegal snooping originated from an administration insider.
Some people are saying it is because they knew a report was scheduled for release that would reveal the scandal anyway.
But in any case this has distracted from Benghazi. Then there is the AP scandal. This morning I read that the FBI may have illegally collected 10 million medical records of Californians including all of the federal judges.
Is this an attempt at scandal overload to desensitize the public or is the house of cards falling apart?

This is coordinated. That's how I feel. Benghazi was an act of treason. I don't of any nation in the history of humanity that would let a sitting ambassador be killed and NOT consider it an act of war that demanded some kind of response. And the Left will go along with these other scandals because they know that Obama can always claim incompetence; and while that is an awful quality for any Administration, it is not a fatal one.

Yep. It’s the old smoke and mirrors trick.
When the Rats start complaining about “the bronco-bama”, you know it’s a diversion.

I don't know if that is their strategy or not, but if it is, I think they are idiots. Rather than distract from Benghazi, these other scandals simply lend credibility to the Benghazi scandal. If Benghazi were the ONLY thing going on right now, most of the sheep in this country would be thinking "Aw, it's just those nasty Republicans making wild accusations." Most dumbed-down Americans couldn't find Libya on a map, anyway.
But a scandal where the IRS harasses people? THAT'S a scandal even ghetto rats can understand. A scandal where the administration strongarms private data from media outlets? THAT'S a scandal even left-wing media idiots can understand. Then, once people who formerly thought Obama was Jesus accept that Obama might just be a corrupt politician - BOOM - Benghazi suddenly doesn't seem like such a made-up thing as it once did, does it?
