ABC News’ Trey Hardin: West Wing Of White House Authorized IRS-Gate Targeting
Gee, it wasn’t a local IRS office scandal after all. ABC’s Trey Hardin suggested “with a very strong sense of certainty” that the West Wing of the White House authorized the IRS targeting of conservative groups.

Trey Hardin: “I will tell you this on the IRS front. I’ve worked in this town for over 20 years in the White House and on Capitol Hill and I can say with a very strong sense of certainty that there are people very close to this president that not only knew what the IRS were doing but authorized it. It simply just does not happen at an agency level like that without political advisers likely in the West Wing certainly connected to the president’s ongoing campaign organization.”
Trey Hardin was on with Doug McIntyre on 790 KABC this morning.
We don’t have to prosecute. We have to investigate. Even then we don’t have to prosecute but instead to form a select committee to consider articles of impeachment.
When you violate public trust and public official office duties the standards for action are much lower.
I think a select committee for each issue is in order in the House. One for White House abuse of IRS, one for the Libyian lies and abandonments to certain death and those related cover-ups, a third for Fast and Furious, another for NASA security investigations stopped, and I think one for whatever new thing pops up.
The dems love these — had them all the time when W was pres.
Obama hated the SCOTUS ruling on Citizen’s United. He even called out SCOTUS on it during a SOTU address. I recall Alito mouthing the words “Not true”.
Using the IRS was the only way for Obama to get what SCOTUS wouldn’t give him.
I already figured as much..Obama is a dictator, he goes after his “Enemies” by destroying them..Obama has had his target on the Tea Party from the moment we came about..he wanted the Tea Party destroyed..he figured he would use the IRS to get the job done..Oh and IMPEACH this bastard..the sooner the better

Lest we forget, this same regime was issuing instructions to DHS and law enforcement which identified ‘Tea Party’ and Constitution Patriots’ and conservative Christians as the dangerous people to watch out for! The regime has been wroking its ass off trying to destroy opposition to their fascist rule. The IRS was but one wing of this rise of democrip fascism. And Pelsoi and co. want US to make the IRS the managers of our entire Healthcare system. Whew! Talk about foxes guarding hen houses ... but will the republicants gather enough courage to fight this fascists takeover? I wonder; have key republicants like McCain been assured of a place int he new world order these fascists are working to install?

After the 2010 elections - clearly a victory for grassroots Tea Party groups, Obama had to do something to thwart the growth and influence of conservative grassroots groups. What better way than to sic the IRS on them to slow them down, sap their resources, demoralize them, and demonize them.
The method worked. The influence of Tea Party groups waned and they were not a big factor in 2012.
I was remembering it as the 43rd, but that can’t be the number ... unless it was a Party Congress not a Supreme Soviet Congress.

They know this stretches into his office, they know what kind of person he is and who surrounds him like THEY ALL KNEW about Bill’s predilection for trashy dyed haired women with wide hips. They didn’t cover Monicagate until the DNA tests came back and unless they get someone on the record willing to testify that Barry himself said “do it”, I don’t see the media taking a real bite. They are too afraid. too afraid to get audited, too afraid of a sudden labor action, too afraid of losing access and too afraid of losing everything, forever. The left never forgets.

You are so right. He is capable of doing anything to neutralize his enemies. Just look on YouTube at what he and Odinga did in Kenya and the resulting violence and deaths which ensued. Look at Benghazi and how he was able to sacrifice all those lives. Conservatives are the enemy and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Hopefully, all of these scandals hitting him all at once will encourage more whistleblowers to step up and talk. You can bet there are many more who just have kept silent all this time.

Your questions highlight the bewilderment of honest, wholesome, true, red blooded American patriots (conservatives). The old adage “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” has a lot of truth. The most insecure people seek control over their social environment. The Ivy League Elite, with all their indoctrinated hatred detest their own association with America, our history and heritage. They seek to change it. They want everyone else to think and see the world as they do BY ANY MEANS.
This is where they get, “the ends justify the means.” The only way to get conformity is through social and legal control. The Utopia they seek is one in which all people are somewhere between happy and satisfied with their status in our citizenry as long as it is “fair”. They must win peoples hearts, minds and work ethic in order to perfect their utopia. They actually believe in all citizens working as hard as they can and using their skills to support a collective of citizens. They detest individual achievement and refuse to link potential with incentive.
For socialism (or fascism or communism) to work, all citizens would have to adopt a character that put the collective citizenry above self and family (prosperity, career, safety, security, freedom, health, etc.). ALL citizens would have to voluntarily give all power over to an authority to decide what is fair for every single citizen. The fruit of your labor would never be yours and you would have to be happy about that. FINALLY, all citizens would have to have a religious faith that the authority would never let you, your family or your fellow citizens down.
You would have to be part of an ant colony.
Again, control and power is the first and most important step toward their fantasy utopia. But they MUST win this control and power as Hitler did. In their minds, it does not matter how they win it (fear, intimidation, trickery, ambiguity, lies, deceit, etc.) They must break the will or woo the masses.
And that is why it has always eventually failed. It is also why it will never work in America. Think about all the liberal policies that force control through legislation, regulation, stipulation, etc.
All this is an explanation that most die hard liberals don’t even realize. The Alynski’s, Soros’, Clinton’s, Obama’s, etc. They get it. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t have a clue. Liberalism is attractive to the “low info voter” because the sales pitch is so attractive. “We want to help the poor, the hungary, the helpless, the homeless, the disadvantaged.” “We detest war.” “We want equality.” “We want everyone to succeed.”
Thing is, we all want those things. For liberals, it translates into “we want more of your earnings to extend our control and power through wealth distribution and thereby more votes.” For conservatives, we want government out of the way so we can provide for ourselves and help each other at our own discretion through selfless charity to our deserving fellow citizens.
Maybe there is something in this rambling that will help answer your question. It is confusing for conservatives because we actually believe in the individual and our potential as individuals. We know and appreciate freedom. We know what it means to work hard, earn for ourselves and be loyal. Liberals believe most citizens do not know what is best for them and they charge themselves with controlling them for their own good. This is where the smug and condescending Ivy League Elite snobbery comes from.
