thats weird, I thought hurricane katrina washed all the thugs over to Texas.
Unfortunately GA got almost as many as Texas, and the crime stats in DeKalb county (a mostly chocolate county) climbed abruptly. There were a large number of (black) criminals (turning their lives around) shot and killed by police, and after that things calmed down a bit. As of two years ago GA still had 60,000 welfare "famblies" from Katrina still sucking the life blood out of the taxpayers.
Unfortunately, no. It washed many OUT of New Orleans, but a lot of them landed in Baton Rouge,and they never went back. The area around Perkins Road and Scenic Highway has sections of "Martin Luther King Boulevard" territory nearby.
