Stubbs said a man wearing a pink shirt was in line trying to pay for gas when Donald Dickerson, 41, started making fun of him, leading to an argument.
"The defendant (Dickerson) approached the white male victim," the police report stated.
It went on to read, "the defendant told him he was in the wrong neighborhood and he was not going to make it out." The victim said that's when he "was punched and knocked to the ground."
At this time, his wife got out of the car and ran to help her husband. The victim said, "he continued to struggle with the defendant and was eventually knocked unconscious, which later he awoke in the hospital."
His wife told police, "after running to help her husband, she remembers falling to the ground and (being) knocked unconscious."
According to a close family friend, that's when the couple's teenage daughter got out of the car to check on her parents and, "observed a female punch her mother in the face, when her mother then fell to the concrete, hitting her head on the surface."
The daughter was also punched in the face.
"There were only three suspects but there were multiple people in the parking lot," said Stubbs.
Of those three, Dickerson was arrested and charged with second-degree battery. The other two suspects, Devin Bessye, 24, and Ashley Simmons, 22, were released on site after police wrote them each a summons for simple battery.

Again the racists don’t get charged with a hate crime. Thought crime is only for the scapegoats, I mean white people.
Project ‘Floating Sheep’ has determined which parts of the country hateful tweets are originating. Maybe their next project will pinpoint where unprovoked beatings based upon skin color are occurring.
They wrote them the equivalent of a traffic ticket.
It’s not only their neighborhood, it’s their country. Their president, their welfare and to hell with non-negro trespassers.
Yet we’re told by liberals that there’s a disproportion number of minorities that are imprisoned.
How many white neighborhoods in USA are there where a black person will be afraid of walking down the streets at night time? How many black neighborhoods are there where a white person will NOT feel afraid walking down the streets at night unarmed?

Even with CCW, I still I have some rules:
1. Stay out of dangerous areas especially when the family is with me.
2. Avoid confrontation and certainly escalation.
3. If #1 and #2 fail, and life/safety is at stake, attack, evade and escape to call 911.

White people being attacked in black neighborhoods happens everyday in America, and it doesn’t matter if the white people are old or young, male or female. The reverse (black people being attacked in white neighborhoods) almost never happens. All rational people know this, yet the PC propaganda machine known as the media continues to roll with the lie that it’s the other way around.
Don’t act like food.
There are parts of town I do not go into unarmed, for that reason.
The perp was right. They were in the wrong neighborhood. Doesn’t excuse what happened, but they needed to be aware.
If you are from out of town, ask. If you can’t ask, pay attention to the area.

I recall all the hoopla around the Trayvon case, black parents warning their kids about walking in white neighborhoods.

Unfortunately GA got almost as many as Texas, and the crime stats in DeKalb county (a mostly chocolate county) climbed abruptly. There were a large number of (black) criminals (turning their lives around) shot and killed by police, and after that things calmed down a bit. As of two years ago GA still had 60,000 welfare "famblies" from Katrina still sucking the life blood out of the taxpayers.
This thought occurs to me every time I hear whining about white racism in America.
The civil courts may take it more seriously.
Not that there’s much to go after.
