“Boehner and McConnel are such disappointments.
“leaders”? Horse shit”

Hastert and Frist before them were also weak. With the exception of the early days of Gingrich as Speaker, the GOP establishment has been unable to develop and put in place effective leadership at the national level:

George H.W. Bush
Bob Dole
George W. Bush
Bob Livingston - Gingrich successor as speaker who resigned
Denny Hastert
Bill Frist
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Mel Martinez - RNC Chairman before Steele
Michael Steele
Reince Priebus
Eric Cantor
Karl Rove

It is impossible to fight a war for survival with vapid leadership.

What do you expect? They're republicans. They don't GAF so long as they know what the socialists are going to do in advance so they can invest in the equity side of it.

They're looking out for their own asses and no one else like good republicans.

If Gingrich had been Speaker it’s unlikely Obama would have won in 2012.
