If they were hung up on one or more of the first degree murder charges, since the final verdict was “guilty,” almost certainly it was one juror who was hanging them up this morning.
My family has been on the short end of that stick. When my sister was murdered, one juror threatened to hang the jury on the first degree murder charge. So, she got them all to go with guilty on murder in the second degree. Convinced them to do that to spare the family a second trial. Suffice it to say that the family was none to pleased by that.

A first-degree murder conviction could result in a death penalty sentence. Though, at Gosnell’s age, if he is found guilty of any of the crimes, he will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

Already did; I'm a big girl. Not for nothing the loony left, which glorifies in every sexual perversion and constantly pushes the envelope on the sexual perversions children should be exposed to, fiercely objects to any photographs of abortion anywhere, anytime, including in peaceful protests. I've also heard conservatives objecting to the use of abortion photos on decency grounds.
I'm of the opinion that until the left fully accepts responsibility for killing a human being during abortion, the right should sue, sue, sue to publish these photos under First Amendment protections for as long as it takes to beat them into submission.
To quote Hillary Clinton just ten years ago, abortion should be "safe, legal and rare." I agree with her on two out of three of those points. Legal? No.

May God do whatever needs to be done to Gosnell’s hell-bent, Moloch heart, to bring him to repentance.

I’m not even sure what the sentence was...if there has been one yet.
