I agree it is logical for cops to overwhelm the criminal and I do not, in general hate cops. I have friends that are cops and my brother is retired from the CHP. Most cops I know do not have that the little tin god syndrome but those that do (my guess is around 30%) taint even the good ones and need to be weeded out. Also, after dealing with the scum of society for years it is reasonable for cops to fear for their lives under any and all circumstances when doing their job. It is when people get dead and personal videos of the incident are confiscated unlawfully by the cops that also taints the good ones.

Morals have been deteriorating with the spiritual state of our society, and the scum is scummier than ever now (even most crooks had some gospel acknowledgment at one point). That acknowledged, the filth is also clearly carrying over to the “boys in blue” and truly it is even on display now with Willers’ personal attacks.

It doesn't give them a free pass, but it's no doubt a factor in many situations.
