Sorry, Jodi. Your mind games didn't work to get you off and neither will they get you the life sentence you really prefer.

When first interviewed by 20/20 you said you'd never be convicted because the murder was a case of self-defense. WRONG! You had hoped talking up your self-defense plea would help convince the public you were innocent. You were convicted for the very reason it wasn't self-defense.

Now, once again, you're playing your transparent little mind games by claiming you prefer the death sentence, hoping the jury will give a life sentence.

Wrong again.

The jury will end up sending you to the electric chair precisely because you're trying to fool them into thinking that's exactly what you want, when they're up to your little games knowing you prefer life.

There is one sure-fire way to find out if she means it. Take her off suicide watch; whatever happens happens.

Her death will be more merciful than her victim’s.

She is doing reverse psychology..she thinks by saying this the jury will feel sorry for her..they convicted her of 1st degree murder..she is gonna get the needle..if she wanted to die so badly she would have killed herself years ago

Crazy manipulative b!tch is trying to psych the jury into giving her life instead of death.

I say give her death.
Then let her live with it hanging over her head for the next 20 years while the system does its thing.

Actually I don't support the death penalty for women, nor even prison for that matter. Women are the "gentle" sex and simply are not capable of the kind of violent behavior that some men (not all) are known for.

Now that said, there are some women, like this one, who definitely need to be removed from society. But they should not be locked away in steel cages in some harsh prison-type environment. I'm thinking more of a softer, campus-like environment, sort of like a dorm at a college, only with a barbed wire fence around it (no woman would attempt to scale a barbed wire fence). We could put them four to a room but make sure they have plenty of throw pillows and soft mattresses to sleep on.
