When I moved to Columbia SC in 1988, I was exploring my new city and drove downtown to see the State House. I was shocked to see the Confederate flag flying on top of the dome. (Not angered or offended...just amazed that it was there.)
They need to put it back and take down the flag of the Beltway Empire.
The Confederate flag still flies at the State House. Just not on top of it. Every now and then somebody gets uppity about that and tries to get it taken down. Never happen.
