So what Senator Schumer? “They’ve been going up for years.” Yes - so how does it make it better to make them dramatically increase even more on top of it due to Obamacare? It was sold to us that it would make them go down - just like “getting a pay raise” we were told.

Prior to the Obama Health Care episode....everyone was completely agreed on this...costs on health care was a major problem. It didn’t matter if you were on health insurance or not...there is something wrong with the system. We are all pretty much agreeable on that fact.

But from the 2k-odd pages of the law, there’s not much that slows down this escalation or cheapens health insurance, or brings something into the picture to correct the burden of cost. If anything...we will double the cost by 2020.

I’ll go out on the limb here and predict that by 2023 (a decade away)...half of all Americans are not on any health insurance at all, nor can they afford it. The other half will be shocked yearly by the continuing rates.
