Even though White House Press Secretary Jay Carney thinks “Benghazi happened a long time ago,” the four people killed in the attacks are just now being officially honored.

This means that Obama was not successful at getting enough people to ignore Benghazi, so now he has to make a gesture toward understanding the public’s concern.
I think it is a good sign that Obama is getting flustered about this.
