Skipping content would explain a lot with regard to your logic.

There is no coherent intellectual critique of Bush. When the same rules are applied to Reagan— Reagan’s mystique collapses.

That is not an attack on Reagan. Its an attack on the intellectual validity of the Bush attacks.

I think you can follow that.

I'm late to the party.

Bush certainly did some good things during his administration, I know you are aware of that.

I am presuming you are as ticked at him for his lack of defending conservative principles as I am. His silence in the face of the onslaught of leftist nonsensical criticism, and his unwillingness to articulate a conservative vision destroyed him, the GOP, and has left conservatives wandering in the wilderness.

I supported him, voted for him, but my son was in Iraq while he never lifted a finger to combat the viciousness of the left, and I'll never forgive him for that blunder. He went down hill in my eyes from there.

That said, I'd take him again in a heartbeat to replace Bambi......

Bush was speaking of islam. Well, I guess we might agree to disagree. I could be very wrong on the following thoughts... but I do not consider islam a ‘religion’. I do not think that there are different ‘levels’ of islamic members/followers either. (Some are acting out now, some are laying low). It seems like they ALL hate us! It seems like they ALL want us dead! That is no darn secret really, they speak of it often. The silence of the ‘moderate’ muslims in regards to the terrorist acts of their pals is deafening. If they do not agree with these acts they should be heard loud and clear constantly following each terrorist event. A LOT of ‘em speaking up and speaking over and over again condeming the acts. No, I do not have the answer, I wish I did. Only the BIG MAN upstairs is gonna be able to dope this mess out. If a muslim, (or anyone else), wants to convert to Christianity I am all for that. I don’t hate muslims, I don’t hate anybody but all of these terrorist attacks have gotta stop and Americans have every right to defend ourselves and our Country.

The media, liberals, democrats, communists, and many of the 'republicans' were all united after 911.... for about two weeks. Then things went back to normal. Even if President Bush had managed to get some legislation going, they would have eventually killed it.

Perhaps, but the main reason Bush didn't attempt to reign in massive third world population transfers into our homeland is because he favored such transfers.

Thank you for the response.

He gave us Obama.

That doesn't mean anyone had to vote for him. Whom do you blame for giving us Obama the second time ?

You want to know 'who' gave us Obama ? The truth ?

'WE' did. Maybe not you or I personally, but collectively, we as a nation did. One can retort that the elections were 'fixed', but it was US who were doing the fixing.

He converted two winning wars into Heartsandminds ops that must always bog down and/or lose. He ramped up entitlements and spending like any Democrat. He inaugurated the real police state with his Homeland Security stuff that may be okay with a moral Republican in office but was made for the race into the police state under a Democrat.

At least he tried. Just because the DHS is NOW being misused is not Bush's fault. IT'S OUR FAULT.

Blame President Bush or President Obama for the state of the nation at this moment, but neither is completely true.

What is , and remains true, President after President, is that it is the other 99.9999999999999999999999999999999 percent of the nation's citizens that make our nation what it is.

Unfortunately, regardless to whom we would like to point a finger at, we have become without a moral compass, and morality is the basis of our laws.

Thanks for the link. Valuable resource, I must say.

Many of the quotes are true. Some are more ‘political’ and some seem like wishful thinking.

There are some that are not true, mainly because we have worldwide organized crime hiding behind groups of ‘religious extremists’.

It’s a game of Chess, with the royalty and the pawns. We have the same thing over here, but our religion is not our military arm (yet).

Thats a bit off subject.
GWB is NOT running for POTUS. He was for eight years. He has a legacy at that.

I remember seeing private photos of President Bush, dirty and sweaty, carrying a child onto the hospital ship. They have been scrubbed from the internet, so I can’t post them. They weren’t ‘photo ops’ as they were taken discretely by , IIRC, a serviceman or National Guard.

What is much more important, in revealing the true character of a person, is what they do ‘privately’.

Conservatives just want to be left alone and be peaceful people doing the right thing.

Which may cause our extinction.

but you cannot change reality fools.

However, fools are experts in ignoring or conjuring up their own reality.

GWB also said right before the Iraqi invasion of 2003 that this definitely would not be “another Vietnam”. I heard him say it.

It wasn't. It may be now, but GWB is not President.

Bottom line... the reason for the mess now is that the Bush Administration's 'war' was working, and they can't have it. Can't tolerate it.

SO... they are on the attack. The U.S. could deal with it, but the Obama Administration (Valerie Jarrett) wants them to succeed, and our military is now being used to support the expansion of the Muslim Brotherhood (organized crime) around the world.

We are funding our enemies, and giving them the weapons to use on us. One can blame that on President Bush, but he's not the one that hired Valerie Jarrett.

His only failings really were being a leader of stupid people too dumb to appreciate his wisdom and compassion.

“There’s a great deal of truth in that.”

Thank you, that is why I said it... ;)

Well, I guess we might agree to disagree.

I assume that no two people 'see' it alike anyway.

I could be very wrong on the following thoughts...

No, I think that pretty much sums up what most people believe right now.

How long have we been doing 'massive third world transfers'?

Don't we even have at least one entire 'third world' nation as our adopted pet ?

Thats a bit off subject.

Not in the context of your comments, but that's OK. I knew you wouldn't answer.

GWB is NOT running for POTUS.

It would be ridiculous for me to even consider him as a candidate, it wouldn't be legal. Were you considering him?

He was for eight years. He has a legacy at that.

Don't they all ?

Yes it is completely off.

You asked me a very tempting question to answer but it has zero to do with my comments on a eight year POTUS legecy of GWB.

The one I figure is ideal cannot be compared to a eight year POTUS.

DHS IS Bush’s fault. You cannot make laws that are only good if there is a good person implementing them. We get more bad presidents than good ones. We get put in the position of hoping for a benevolent king instead of maintaining a system wherein an evil president can’t do much harm.
