I live in Little ROck, AR, a few miles from the Remington .22 LR plant. I was there last week. They have ramped up to 7 million rounds/day in 4 shifts, 24hrs/7 days/week/359 days a year. With some adjustments and a new sorter, they can do 10 million rounds a day!

10 MILLION ROUNDS A DAY!

Where is the .22 LR ammo? In 300 days, they should have made more than enough ammo for the entire U.S.

Where is the .22 LR ammo going?!

My guess is guys like me. I got caught flat footed on 22LR. Minimal supply. Pretty good and the big stuff and the exotic. Real good, in fact - I have a respectable supply.

I didn’t catch the wave of the bulk buyers. The ones that got into every order system on line and choked up their system with backorders of HUGE bulks that they forced the suppliers to stop taking Back Orders. So we (the latelys) are all forced to wait for the B/Os to fill, and compete against the dribs and drabs of smaller bulks that make their way to the dealers. Like I said on another post, the first time I can get an order in for 22LRs in bulk, it will be at least 10,000 rounds. I’m not going through this again.

Into the stockpiles of Americans who are buying it.
