At first I was totally on the opposing side of Luby...
But I think I see where she’s coming from.
A rape by an athlete at the college.
A coverup via threats, shaming, etc.
A re-reminder every time she looks at the mascot.
Diamond Dogs is one weird album. I think Aladdin Sane hints more at the whole rape thing, though.

She had a Husky "look straight through her? What? Did it look in one of her ears?

And there's the 'rape' meme-by-association, no matter how tortuous the 'logic' is.
The logo and the teams it represents are menacing to women, she wrote.
Not only the logo but the team itself. now we're getting a glimpse of her psyche.

I can’t even fault her for the over the top feminist brown-nosing approach she used to bring the subject up.
If a conservative student had brought this issue up, they would have shredded her themselves. Instead they’ve got the right-tards doing it for them.
College campuses are weird places these days where PC rules of engagement mean athletes from protected classes can do anything short of murder and it gets hushed up, while non athlete males can be strung up by their thumbs on NO evidence and they will be afforded no rights to defend themselves.
Then she should man up and do one of two things.
Go public with whatever happened to her, if it did.
Transfer to another college.
Life is hard.
She better toughen up soon or she won’t survive.

They are very vocal-mine even howls when she hears coyotes-she is a great companion, even if spoiled...
I’m gonna take a wild guess and say she’s no fan of the Pirates or Vikings, either.
They are cute, but I’m not really a small dog person-one of my neighbors has a cute, yapping terrier-I’d rather listen to my Husky howl at coyotes any day...
If she has such a problem with the school’s logo why did she decide to go there? I don’t it has been much different for at least 100 years.

I only have one Ibizan left now but used to have 5 and they and the Portuguese Podengo Medio had their scheduled howl-fest every evening, like clockwork.
