When it comes to the size of government, Hispanics are more likely than the general public to say they would rather have a bigger government providing more services than a smaller government with fewer services. Some 75% of Hispanics say this, while 19% say they would rather have a smaller government with fewer services. By contrast, just 41% of the general U.S. public say they want a bigger government, while nearly half (48%) say they want a smaller government.

This year old poll provides good insight as to why the vast majority of Hispanics vote Democrat. This poll portends that amnesty will be a bonanza for Democrats and permanent minority status for Republicans.

They are more loyal to Mexico than the US, even those born here

And it doesn’t take much from there to see how earnest voters have been duped not only by GOPe candidates, but by their supposedly different, tea party challengers just as well.

Sadly very few see that, they think every one loves this country. No, they love the bennies and freedom without committing to the relationship (kind of like baby daddies).

Catholics, like Jews, are overwhelmingly liberals

If we don’t do our due diligence regarding the background of our politicians, we have nobody to blame but ourselves.

From the article:

Support for a larger government is greatest among immigrant Latinos. More than eight-in-ten (81%) say they would rather have a bigger government with more services than a smaller government with fewer services.

This is all anyone needs to know about why Democrats are salivating to make these 12-20 million "immigrant Latino's" new US voters. These people want free stuff, and the Democrats are going to promise (and deliver) it to them. 80% of these Hispanics that would be amnestied under these comprehensive immigration bills will be new Democrat voters - possibly even more than that.

Yup.

Of course, that gets a whole snootful of offense from Catholics here on FR. But it’s the absolute truth.

Look no further than the European situation. The Catholic-majority countries are the ones on the Med who are in debt up to their eyeballs. Debt that can’t possibly repay.

And they’re depending on the mostly protestant (and productive) northern European countries to haul them across the finish line.

This country, and the US Constitution, were not conceived by Catholics. They could not have conceived such a document, nor had adhered to it for so long. The evidence is all over the world.

Unrestricted immigration from Catholic countries will be the end of the US.

And no, they’re not “natural conservatives.”

Slightly over half of Catholics voted for Obama whereas about 70% of Jews did. (Source) The percentage of Catholics voting for Obama is roughly the same as for the nation as a whole. Jews are much more liberal as a group than are Catholics.
