So the next time you talk to Steve, he may really BE in Kansas.
IT is straightforward work for the many US citizens looking for a job. There is no special Indian advantage.
Don’t we all ready have enough IED fabricators in the country?
> “We need guys with deep engineering knowledge and every tech employer, from Fortune 500
> companies to small start-ups in the US, knows that there’s a huge shortage of such people in America,”
What has caused this shortage?
Pay and all sorts of US folks will migrate from Galt's Gulch back to Income Tax Slavery.
Most Indians i know are nice people, especially the Hindus and the Sikhs.
I would be happy if the H1B would only import Hindus and Sikhs.
The issue is they may have a “degree” but school in India is very much a “Route Memorization” Workshop, many i know lack critical logical deductive reasoning and thinking.
US publik skoolz are total failures
Searched for those 60 engineering positions on cvents website. Counting internships I found 19 jobs with engineer in the title (qa performance etc). Total of 31 jobs when I searched on “engineer”
Oh, horse chit. In America, there are plenty of fifty and sixty year olds - even forty year olds - who could fill those positions and bring the requisite knowledge. But nothing beats a “back up the school bus” approach with foreign nationals willing to work dirt-cheap and who are beholden to the company bringing them over lest they look for another job and get shipped right back home. Call the H1B’s indentured servants and you wouldn’t be that far off.
How come those positions cannot be filled by “Americans”? It’s not like we don’t have millions without a job, drawing unemployment checks (not to mention the millions of others who have given up looking).
Is it because they are not qualified?
is it because many spend fortunes getting an education that qualifies them to do nothing?
Please explain this to me...
