In a tweet issued Sunday, Fox News' Geraldo Rivera expressed "regrets" to his "Muslim brothers and sisters" over the tragic Boston Marathon bombings that killed three people and injured over 170, Twitchy reported. "Regrets to my Muslim brothers/sisters. We know how Boston will aggravate life's friction-Now's the time for patience pride & understanding," he tweeted. Last Monday, Twitchy said, Rivera blamed "homegrown anarchists" for the bombing, saying the explosive devices were "relatively modest in killing power." Twitchy said that what Rivera "really regrets about what transpired in Boston this week is not that four innocent people died or that scores of people got their legs blown off. What totally bugs him is the added 'friction' that Muslims will now feel." Some on Twitter took Rivera to task for his comments. "Seriously Geraldo! Regrets to the Muslims?? How about the victims?" one person responded. "How can @FoxNews continue to thrust this man in front of a camera?!" said another Twitter user. "Boston didn't aggravate life's friction. Muslim Terrorists aggravated Life's Friction. Get it right," tweeted "John Counts." Examiner's Harriet Baldwin called Rivera "an enemy of the state"
