Paul Ryan says the Gang of Eight’s immigration-reform plan is “productive” and “getting us closer to a solution.” Ryan will give a speech on Monday in Chicago on immigration. Representative Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, a Democrat, will appear with him.

If these losers actually pass amnesty with Schumer and McCain I am not going to be very sympathetic when they hit the primary debates in 2016 and they start whining about how Dems lied to them about enforcing the borders.

I have heard these type lame + empty excuses way too often, in fact on that Bush thread the other day.

“Those wascally Dems twicked us again.” said Wyan (Ryan) the wabbit.

Admit it, you can just hear Wyan the wabbit whining about he was tricked on immigration by Dems in three years.

He has never shied away from saying stupid stuff before under duress of questions.

And the Ryan cheerleaders here will repeat it like a cult chant “
“They lied to Ryan, They lied to him. “its not his fault”

Oh no doubt!!

I am ready to puke watching these FReeper Rand Paul groupies
trying to defend their savior. Paul is so bad on amnesty, he is even against E-Verify, which is crucial for curbing illegals.

Paul looks to me like he is playing around trying to get Hispanics but not committing himself to this bill. .

Rubio is pushing this bill now and if it passes then he gets the credit not Rand. He needs it to pass. He is the one working with McCain and Schumer getting Dems praise.

Not sure what game Rand is playing yet but he is slippery.

Put this amnesty issue a side a sec and lets ask who is Rand Paul anyway and what has he accomplished?

Nothing. Just like dad but in less time.

He did a short filibuster against a Obama nominee and then gave up and the nominee went through anyway and then Rand declared victory. Then the desperate here cheered him on as their hero.

Another GOP nothing made into a superman for barking at Obama.

And then the momma bear came out and said he's the real thing the other day.

See :#89

Please understand one thing about me my FRiends. I don't jump on anyone's bandwagon until they have proven themselves to me. And I can see clearly who is electable to take on the Dem and who is not.
Ryan, Rub-esty and Paul are very weak candidates.

Yet Rub is the strongest of those three being a governor and he is sleeping with MCcain and Schumer right now UGGGGHH.

Last years GOP primary was a parade of losers but the next one will include the wanna-bes (Ryan, Rub, Paul, ??) sucking up to Latinos and gays while pitching the opposite to GOP primary voters, werent MCcain and Romney bad enough obvious phonies?

Paul :’ I never met an immigrant who wanted (came here for a) handout from the government. Hispanics are natural conservatives,

Rubio :’My immigration legalization process will take them so long that they will wish they left this country and applied from where they came from. Its not amnesty because it punishes them.

Ryan:’You have to pass my bill to find out whats in it 10 years later

Deserves a punch in the mouth for these lies.

Rubio & Ryan aren’t worth commenting on.

I concur. The Rubio/Ryan/Paul trio (each recently "rising stars" with various factions of conservatives) have been a huge disappointment on this issue. I'm sorry for the freepers still "reserving judgment" on Rubio, but I think he's really morphed into his predecessor Mel Martinez on amnesty (albeit with a "different" tone but the same back room deals with RATs). Paul confirmed my fears that he wasn't conservative on national security issues (his fanboys here won't accept until it's too late though, they'll still in denial), and Ryan palling around with Luis Guiterrez (see post #55) is simply disgusting. I haven't cringed that much since Newt Gingrich had an "education tour" with Al Sharpton.

I think it's safe to say we can scratch all three off the 2016 draft list.

Good observation though, which viable GOP contender HASN'T sold out on at least one major issue? It's as bad and as bleak as 2012 now. I am very pessimistic about the future of this country.

>> If McRomney had selected Rubio he would at least carried Florida and won twice as many hispanic votes. <<

Sure, and if Obama had selected Mark Pryor, he would have carried Arkansas and done twice as well with white southerners. I mean, we all know white southerners will automatically vote for another white southerner, just like Hispanics will automatically vote for another Hispanic.

>> You nailed the traitor Ryan long before anyone else here at FR. As for myself, he never passed any kind of smell test :) <<

sickoflibs was right about Ryan and a lot of us were fooled (the Paulbots were right about Ryan too, they reacted negatively to his selection as veep, but I'm not giving them credit since they were wrong about everything else that election cycle)

I can say I was right not to trust Marco Rubio and Rand Paul from the start though.

It seems pretty clear to me. I tend to "rush to judgment" but I think it's wishful thinking on the part of anyone "reserving judgment" that Rubs plan is anything but a piece of crap.
