In his last reelection in 2010 McCain spent over $20,000,000 in the Republican primary and consequently won the primary with 56% of the vote—which worked out to over $70 a vote. Pretty hefty for a not particularly populated state.
So he’s not up for re-election until 2016. I strongly suspect that he won’t be running for reelection (because of his age and because he’s showing early signs of approaching dementia). So he’s more likely to be wearing a drool-bucket than hitting the campaign trail.
Of course depending upon the specifics of his disease medication can delay the progression of the disease—possibly long enough for him to be reelected. But since I sense his family wants that bubble headed daughter of his to take his seat, they may not want to risk having him still in office after the dementia has overtaken him.
Graham, he’s definitely beatable.

The federal government could be enforcing the current immigration laws that would have prevented the bombings in Boston, in fact, the current immigration laws provided for deporting this very kind of alien trash , but, as usual, this socialist administration elected not to deport him, instead, gave him enough freedom to build a bomb an set it off murdering Americans!
Nothing this proposed immigration reform bill will do to secure this country, since, this administration will never and I say again, NEVER, will secure the border, since this is their main source of new socialist voters! I heard Rubio on M. Levin radio program, everything they are proposing requires the American people to [trust] the federal government to secure the border in five (5) years! Hell, in another five (5) years there will be another 15-25 million illegals in the country and Lord only knows how many illegal alien terrorist that number will be made up of!
I guess these so called “representatives” of the American people really believe we are that stupid as to believe the borders will be secured! This comes from our out of control government that refuses to enforce the current firearm laws so they can point to the number of convicted felons getting firearms, or the same out of control government who ran firearms illegally to Mexico the drug cartels that murdered several hundred men, women, and children in order to blame the American people and push for stricter firearm laws! This same out of control government is now refusing to enforce the current immigration laws to they can sit back and watch the American people get murdered, robbed, raped, and beaten by illegal aliens, all the while telling the American people, “don't you dare defend yourselves, you racist bastards!” Now, wants us all to believe this time around they are going to secure the border, “we promise” this time, with their fingers crossed behind their backs and laughing at every American who even thinks about trusting them!

Until the borders are secured, moving armed national Guard troops tot he borders, building a double fence, increasing the amount of electronic security along the borders, north, south, and in between, these gangster of 8 can all go to hell with this bull shit immigration bill they wrote behind closed doors and out side the view of the public at large!

I have stopped blaming McCain and Graham. “The fault doth lie not in the stars but ourselves.” These two scoundrels keep getting elected and re-elected because of low-information voters and lack of viable candidates. The damage the two of them have done to conservative issues will be lasting and irreparable damage done to the Republic. Why hasn’t there been a massive backlash to this measure like what happened last time?

What actually needs to happen is to repeal all the immigration acts and return to pre-1965 immigration act America, when then America was actually growing economically and not becoming socialist and infiltrated with terrorists. It is the 1965 immigration act and the subsequent Amnesties that have led to the decline of America and terrorism.

Somebody please inform these two idiots that the law doing such already exists. Entry and Exit control was passed in the 1996 IIRCA Act. But then three amnesty-loving presidents did nothing to enforce it and the succession of Congresses nothing to fund it.
So here's McCain and Rubio saying we need amnesty passsed to determine who is entering and leaving the country, when for 17 years they have done nothing to enforce an already existing identical law.
McCain we know. Does anybody here still think Rubio is the boy wonder when he is too stupid to know that immigration laws are never enforced? Let's face it - Rubio is a career politician with no beliefs other than what his consultants tell him might "sell".
If he thought it would get him votes and a favorable article in the Washington Post Style section he would be trying to turn Texas back to the Comanches.
What is equally incredible is that even Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin think Rubio is a man of integrity, courage, and intellect. Jimmie Swaggart ranks higher on the integrity and honesty stage than Rubio.
SC must have some of the most uninformed people in the USA. Now 57 percent of “Republicans” favor Lovable Lindsey’s renomination. These may some of the same souls for Mark Sanford too. People so often lack basic knowledge and are misinformed by the media.
