Finally, Word from the White House! Well, Tidbits from a ‘White House Official’
PJ Media ^ | 4/19/2013 | Bridget Johnson

At 10:08 a.m. Eastern time, nearly 12 hours after the slaying of an MIT police officer sparked a crime spree by the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, the first peep of news was heard from the White House.

It wasn’t any sort of official statement or updated guidance, but the first report from the White House press pool.

A White House official said shortly after 9:45 a.m. President Obama, joined by Vice President Biden, “convened a briefing in the White House Situation Room with his national security team on developments in the investigation as well as the events in Boston and Watertown, Mass.”

Participating in the briefing are Attorney General Eric Holder, FBI Director Robert Mueller, Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Lisa Monaco, Deputy National Security Advisor Tony Blinken, Deputy Chief of Staff Alyssa Mastromonaco, Deputy National Security Advisor For Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes, Deputy Counsel to the President Avril Haines and National Security Advisor to the Vice President Jake Sullivan. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Secretary of State John Kerry, and CIA Director John Brennan joined by video conference.

“The briefing is currently underway. This morning’s briefing is a follow-up to the regular briefings that the President received through the night as he was routinely updated on the investigation.”

Obama spoke at a memorial service in Boston yesterday. He only had closed-door meetings with advisers on his original schedule for today.

A briefing, following a briefing, to talk about the situation in MA, followed by more meetings, interspersed with briefings, and a low key comment to the White House tools...oops, I mean press corp. Don't think for a minute that this will mean no more White Hut Ramadamned dinners and outreach and groping the mudslime communities.

In the meantime, MA police have managed to locate and exterminate one of the rats and is hot on the tail of the second terrorist rat.

A phony president who goes to bed when an ambassador is under attack gets no slack from me.

Really, does anyone give a smelly Obama about what trivial events occur in the White House?

We have no leader, nor do we have anyone in that formerly respected location that has a measurable IQ.

A pox on all of them.

When was the last security briefing before this terror attack hit the fan?

Who even cares? I’m frankly grateful (and surprised) that we haven’t heard from The Prince or Shortpants Carney.

This is BS. King Barry's beauty rest is not to be disturbed.

Once it is over, I expect he’ll take credit for the takedown and most excellent investigation by those who work for him.

Sitting in front of the TV is probably what “O” and Slow Joe think leadership IS.

Oh well... what else are they capable of?

By the way I am listening to the FOX journalists whining that the authorities are not forthcoming with information. Something like: 'we have to just sit around waiting...'.

Really??

The officials are supposed to compromise the search just to feed YOU guys verbiage so YOU can look relevant?

You know what? I actually don't mind. In fact, I prefer that he keep out of it, publicly, and let law enforcement do their jobs before muddying the waters.

A “crime spree”??????

All the big administration players in attendance .... got some major cover-up, spinning to do on this one. This is on American soil, not way off in Benghazi land somewhere .... going to be a tad more difficult to keep this one from stinking up Obama & his administration. I know one person who is “thrilled” .... Hillary .... that she got the heck out of there before the SHTF here.

I wouldn’t miss anyone after or before Ronald W., excepting Calvin Coolidge.

Barry is still trying to cope with the fact it’s not a Whitey, Tea Party, chuech attending, anti-gay marriage, anti global warming, gun-totting bitter clinger, male that he hoped it would be.

I’m surprised he didn’t throw another tantrum about gun control after an explosion the size of a small atomic bomb goes off in Texas.

” with his national security team”
Meaning i don’t want to hear lets not jump to conclusions, this is simple crime and not terror.
I know he’ll try and paint it any way he can to not face the facts but its his national security team.

Right. Barky stands for all those things that are precious to Democrats: homosexual weddings, killing babies, kissing muslim butts, grabbing guns so the central socialist government can kill us, raising taxes, denying states their rights, leaving porous borders porous in order to get more Democrat voters, stacking the Soopreme Kort with lesbians, surrounding himself with maxist morons, etc. etc. etc.

Evil Obomba administration.

It will be interesting to see if Holder and Obama declare that the cop killed by the Chechen Twins is “Workplace Violence”.

I read it. Additionally, American Spectator had an excellent article on the review of the book that showcased Calvin’s very conservative stance on taxes.
