I'd rather he be brought in alive. Alive enough to answer questions, be tortured at Gitmo enough to tell the real truth, and then be ‘disappeared’ quietly.

The only place Gitmo prisoners disappear to is back to their own country to fight another day after release.

Under Obama, yes. Used to be they’d be transferred to a cooperating country and regime friendly (at least grudgingly cooperative) to US terrorist problem. These places would ‘get Medieval’ on their terrorist asses and ALL information needed was given.
