Honest...not a tinfoiler, but...do they have any idea how this fire started? I know fertilizer (and it’s dust—like grain and sugar) are exceptionally volatile. The timing of this tragic event is just scary (w/Waco anniversary this week.)

There have been some extremely high winds and lightening in that area this afternoon. I haven’t heard anything official but I wouldn’t be surprised if that may be the trigger.

Five West firefighters and a policeman, I think, were fighting the fire for about 2 hours when it blew. It is thought that they were immediately killed.

They are reporting that 60 to 70 have died, and around 200 have been injured.

So sad. West is the place people stop off to get kolaches when driving between Dallas and Austin.

There is no sense that this was anything more than an accident.
