” ... US Senate is granting a foreign country the power of decision on whether the US goes to war.”

Kind of like the fact that as a member of NATO we are obligated to go to war if Greece does? Or the fact that the Secretary of Defense flat out stated that the UN decides when we fight, not Congress?

This gesture by a committee is meaningless next to our reality.

NATO should have been considered a temporary expediency in the aftermath of WWII until Europe could again sustain its own balance of power.

A lot of Americans are beginning to tire of making every regional squabble on the other side of the world into a bloody, costly, endless battle for American survival.
