Poor choice of words. However few African rebel groups elevate to the level of "noble". The government of President Goodluck Johnathan is nominally Christian and they are corrupt on a level that even Washington DC envies.
The only logical response to unprovoked violence against you and/or your group, is a violent response — kill or be killed. Even the Europeans are going to come to that conclusion very soon.
