FASCISM: Mark Levin says a powerful Republican Congressman trying to silence his show
The Right Scoop ^ | Brian

Posted on 04/13/2013 2:47:31 PM PDT by JohnPDuncan

Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that a certain Republican Congressman who doesn’t like what he’s saying is trying to get the local affiliate in their district to stop running the Mark Levin Show. And apparently they are trying to do it behind the scenes. But Levin says EVERYTHING gets back to him and he will not tolerate fascism.

He gives this unnamed Republican Congressman a warning below noting that if they succeed in getting him silenced, he will expose them:

So which station in King’s district carries Mark’s show? I think that it’s McCarthy and the Ventura station in California 23, especially since McCarthy controls the committee chair assignments, like Mark hinted at.

Let’s start saying who WE think it is, I think it could be KEVIN MCCARTHY from BAKERSFIELD CA, He’s 3rd in the house ‘leadership’ and Levin has critized him before.

I never heard any stories about Fabians and Commies. I was referring to the GOP’s love affair with big banks, big government, globalism and it’s hatred for state’s rights and limited government.

Levin needs to name that House member... and now. You lose credibility when you make such a claim...and not name who it is

Agree. The stakes are too high to be playing this kind of game.

C’mon Mark-—As soon as you can prove it -—cut loose. Holding back does nothing except give a weasel more working time. These blowhards must be exposed, shamed, belittled, re-trained, humiliated and ultimately defeated. If true , there is no room for forgiveness-—just defeat and banishment. We can find an honest person to take the place of the underhanded dirtbag.

The flagship station WABC in NY. King is or was a chariman and Levin has gone on some epic rants against him recently. But you are right it may not be him. It may be McCarthy. Hmmmmmm...

you're missing the boat on that as well ~ the Whig party were the proponents of a Central Bank/Sound Currency, a transcontinental railway ~ someday, but in the meantime, railroads to everywhere, and various public improvements like roads, post offices, court houses, etc.

Nobody thinks of those sorts of things as LEFTIST. They come with CIVILIZATION and INCREASING WEALTH.

If you want to tell me you were against banks, currency, railroads, roads, post offices, court houses ~ and just leaving the Vast Wilderness that was North America unsullied by ploughs and the droppings of domesticated horses, or the ruts carved by wagons, then you're probably on the wrong board.

The Republican party was built out of the Abolitionist Movement, the only large scale popular SOCON organization to ever get near major party size, and the remains of much of the Whig party.

In fact, Abe Lincoln was a railroad lawyer and ran for Congress as a Whig!

You might have missed it in class but Lincoln built the Transcontinental Railway while successfully pursuing the Civil War ~ he won both events.

I think banning political parties might be a good idea. Have them all stand as independents. No HOUSE majority tyranny and no hiding behind a party.

Uh, looks like he's got more than one affiliate:

Of course he does and the poster knows that. The poster was pointing out that even though the threat is to close down only one of Mark's affiliates it is a real threat against the conservative movement.

Anyone who thinks that the Republicans are significantly better than the Democrats is dreaming. Boner and crew will cave on all of the significant issues being pushed by the liberals, because they think it will help them keep their phony balony jobs. I sure won’t support them any more - they better hope the fags, illegals and criminal coddlers will vote for them from now on.

That’s why I don’t see any reason for financially supporting the GOP.

Screw’m.

Contributions of the Wisconsin Forty-Eighters

Even though their number was small in terms of the entire German-born population in Wisconsin, the Wisconsin ‘48ers made their mark in political activism, leadership, and education.

Political Activism: Perhaps the greatest contribution of the Wisconsin Forty-Eighters is their commitment to political activism—an activism, some would say, that is part of the fabric of Wisconsin progressivism. Exiles and revolutionaries, the ‘48ers promoted liberty and freedom in America. They were especially active in the abolition movement, denouncing the Fugitive Slave Law and championing anti-slavery ideals. While perhaps debatable, Carl Schurz is often credited with getting Abraham Lincoln elected (see Rippley, 32). The ‘48ers were also involved in the founding of the Republican party, often seeing themselves as the German wing of the Republican party.

I think most of these accomplishments especial in the early 1800’s were private corporations which were individually set up as there wasn’t a uniform corp law at the time. But most of the infrastructure in this country was built by private individuals. for example railroad, bridge, aqueduct, canal from coal county in northern pa was all private. the Delaware-hudson canal at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_and_Hudson_Canal but i don’t think railroads where built by governments. so the whig party didn’t build railroads i think the one off corp laws at the time set up the corps that built them via private capital. pikes in my area where mostly private toll roads.

Why the hell does everybody think the Repubs are turning against Conservatives?
The Repubs want to share the power they allow the Democrats to usher into our lives.

Not one damn Republican is stopping this nonsense including those who say the right words!

Time to raise some hell on these Republicans and kick their sorry asses out of office!
Especially John McCain who is leading the charge on pressuring every Conservative,
and promising to ruin them if they don't go along with the new Republican leaderships agenda.

There is a new Republican party, and they are Democrats who have infiltrated the old guard.
