(LEAD) N. Korea has likely not moved mobile missile launchers: source
SEOUL, April 13 (Yonhap) -- North Korea did not appear to move vehicles suspected to be mobile launchers for its medium-range missiles over the past two days, a government source said Saturday, in an indication that Pyongyang's missile launch is not imminent.
According to intelligence sources, the North had moved two Musudan intermediate missiles, which had been concealed in a shed in the eastern port city of Wonsan, in and out of the facility earlier this week in an apparent bid to interfere with Seoul's intelligence monitoring.

This is likely to be the repeat of NK's familiar ploy: tactical move to fool outsiders about the timing of launch. So typical of NK.

The tactical ploy is this whole threat of conflict in the first place. North Korea is having a “pay attention to me” tantrum. It ramps up every few years, then fizzles. Remember the Norks were supposed to launch a missile on 10 April? That date came and went and nothing happened. What Kim wants is someone to cut him a deal that includes food aid that’ll tide him over until the next rant.
It’s just a game they play... there’s not going to be any conflict. Obama’s enjoying the “commander-in-chief” role-play, though. He gets to put on his bemedaled “little third-world dictator general” suit.

“According to intelligence sources, the North had moved two Musudan intermediate missiles”.....
“They moved it”. “No, they didn’t move it, that was yesterday” “Oh yes they did, they moved it today”..........So much for the “intelligence sources”.
Who the hell are these people anyway? Ae they using a coin toss to decide what is happening?

After each ploy, they have better toys: better missiles and nukes. That is a concern. While they regularly extort economic aid from us, they do advance their strategic goal, even while their economy is cut to the bone. They bankroll their project with extorted money.

NK do play these games. It is not intel’s fault. It is a known NK pattern of behavior: tactical surprise, throwing us off-guard about launch time and possibly location. I think missile will go up eventually. They did the same with the nuclear test. They at first dismantle the equipment at the site as if to scrap the whole test, only to do it in a surprise move. Well, it is only surprising to only those who were not aware of their past behavior.

I certainly agree. Though, the PRC border massing is different.

I’m thinking its more likely that they’ve run out of fuel and are waiting on their next allotment from the PRC. Or, perhaps the guy who knows how to drive was inadvertently executed for something. Who knows, lol :)

Unless there’s a DONG in it somewhere, you can bet that Barry doesn’t want anything to do with it.

NK and Iran are tied at the hip and the more we assume that things ain't gonna escalate, the more the damage that we are open for.

So much for the intelligence sources. Real intelligence producers don't distribute their product to other than authorized users.
Any news media can state "According to intelligence sources" to add crediblity to their story. Most of their crap is made up to hype an agenda and build tension in order to sell their dribble to the low information sheeple.

The question for consideration is..... what will the norks do after the missile fired out to the south east is shot down?
That is really the only question worth considering.

I believe that China has some sort of ties with Iran as well, I think it likely that all three are working together.

I agree that interception or attempt at interception is a real flash point. For whatever reason, if US or Japan shoot down NK missile in flight, it is a whole new ball game in E. Asia. It may become a history-making event.

I wonder if perhaps this is China’s way of telling
the Pacific Rim nations that the US. can no longer

The soldiers manning the mobile launchers may have killed over in starvation.
