I can just hear Kerry now, speaking in a whiny child’s voice: You better too take me seriously, I served in Vietnam you know!

Yes... and like you said... the Norks are the “crazy” ones.
Crazy like foxes.

I still believe this is nothing more than one of North Korea’s periodic “PAY ATTENTION TO ME” temper tantrums. In a few days, it’ll fizzle, and Obama will get unwarranted adulation for having faced down this “bitter enemy.”

.... Considering this administrations penchant for extremely over-reactive and poorly acted dramas in response to fabricated and ever changing Crisis-Dejours ..... I just find it quite curious that this whole drama unfolding in North Korea is unfolding merely a month after so called "Secret Meetings" between the US and the DPRK.
..... I can't help but ponder if this whole thing is a choreographed attempt to enable our Dear Leader to rise to the occasion and appear to fearlessly face off with the evil leader of the mighty and powerful DPRK and heroically prevent global thermal nuclear war. Then as we all breath a collective sigh of relief .... show the urgency for the disarming of the world of all nuclear weapons. Then in good trust and to show our seriousness to broker world peace .... move toward the disarming of America.

I heard on NBC this morning that the S. Korean ‘rapper’ Psy is having a concert tonight in Seoul, debuting his newest single. Might this be a ‘target’ for the N. Koreans?

"If Kim Jong Un decides to launch a missile, whether it's across the Sea of Japan or some other direction, he will be choosing willfully to ignore the entire international community," Kerry told reporters. "And it will be a provocation and unwanted act that will raise people's temperatures."
Raise. People's. Temperatures. Let that sink in for a moment..The region stands on the brink of nuclear war, and the best this Bozo can do is state the obvious: millions of Japanese are under threat of frying like bacon. I'm not hearing a down side for the Norks these days. Most significantly, neither do they.

Kerry / Obama are giving fat boy a way out. They say sternly don’t launch. He ignores them and launches a missile into the sea and “shows them”. Obama says we are just glad no one was hurt but tells NK to never do it again. Fat boy thinks he showed the world how tough he is. Incident over.
To: ScottinVA
Bush's fault.
Just more symptoms of the failed policies of the republicans that Obama must resolve.
He is better than this.

Boy those N Koreans must be shaking in their boots after this warning from JFNK.

I wonder what would be happening if Fred Thompson had had the motivation in his campaign and actually won two terms. I wonder what this situation would be like now.

Kim Jong Il: Hans Brix? Oh no, not you again!
Oh, herro. Great to see you again, Hans!
Hans Blix: Mr. Il, I was supposed to be allowed to inspect your palace today, but your guards won’t let me enter certain areas.
Kim Jong Il: Hans, Hans, Hans! We’ve been frew this a dozen times. I don’t have any weapons of mass destwuction, OK Hans?
Hans Blix: Then let me look around, so I can ease the UN’s collective mind. I’m sorry, but the UN must be firm with you. Let me in, or else.
Kim Jong Il: Or else what?
Hans Blix: Or else we will be very angry with you... and we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are.
Kim Jong Il: OK, Hans. I’ll show you. Stand to your reft.
Hans Blix: [Moves to the left]
Kim Jong Il: A rittle more.
Hans Blix: [Moves to the left again]
Kim Jong Il: Good.
[Opens up trap, Hans falls in]
