North Korea Launch Zone Found
The Washington Free Beacon ^ | April 11, 2013 | Bill Gertz

Posted on 04/11/2013 1:12:32 PM PDT by SatinDoll

U.S. and allied intelligence agencies have identified the launch zone on North Korea’s east coast...

The North Koreans recently began fueling two road-mobile Musudan intermediate-range ballistic missiles located along the east coast between the cities of Wonsan and Hamhung,..

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said in addition to the 2,500-mile-range Musudans the North Koreans could conduct test firings of several 620-mile-range Nodong missiles and shorter-range Scuds simultaneously as a way to thwart U.S. missile defenses.

Unlike earlier launches, the North Koreans are not expected to provide advance warning of the timing for the launches, such as announcing a sea and air closure zone, because of heightened U.S. and Japanese missile defenses.

The Pentagon has at least four missile-interceptor ships in the region equipped with SM-3 interceptors. Additionally, long-range interceptors based in Alaska and California are ready to counter any missiles fired toward the United States.

[snip]

“The United States and Japan are preparing to shoot down the missiles if they fly over Japanese territory or are aimed at U.S. bases in the region,” said one official.

The missile tests would be banned under U.N. Security Council resolutions passed after earlier long-range missile tests by North Korea.

Tsar Bomba was originally designed to be 100MT(I think) but then they reduced it to 50-57MT (I think) I think another reason for reduction was the level of fallout created.

I don’t think the theory about four well placed 50MT is correct. Super volcanoes, say Yellowstone caldera, are believed to be around 200 or so Megatons.

Nothing is going to come of this... the Norks like to play this brinksmanship game from time to time. Sure pays off for Obama as it takes the minds of the sheeple away from the domestic stuff that really matters.

So TARGET THEM and DESTROY the missiles as soon as they leave the launch pad! If little coke-head Kim Jon Long Dong doesn't like it tell him that he should think twice about declaring war on America and her allies and then following through with his threats by lighting off his rockets.

One more thing, don't give North Korea ANYTHING, not even ONE grain of rice or ONE drop of oil! That is what this whole kabuki theater dance is all about. Little coke-head's entire country, except for the fortunate few, is STARVING to death. The whole mess is about to collapse into the dustbin of history and his fate will end up along side Mussolini, Chauchesque (sp?), Sadam Insane and Kadaffie Duck. The kid is walking dead meat. He just doesn't want to believe it yet. When, not if North Korea collapses the starving millions are going to tear little FAT BOY apart and eat him! The day that happens, the whole free world will rejoice.

Can little coke-head fat boy shoot off some missiles, destroy part or all of South Korea... sure. BUT he is a dead man the second he does so and the minute his troops see the wealth of the South and all of the food... they will know that their own government has LIED to them for decades and little coke-head fat boy, along with all of their oppressors will be grist for the mill.

Not in a happy place watching the news tonight.

Media refusing to cover Gosnell trial of abortion clinic..

IRS within the law reading personal e-mails

Senate moving ahead with plans to make it difficult for people to purchase firearms

and Obama on the news giving North Korea a stern warning to stop being so belligerent...will it be a test that lands in the pacific or multiple missiles launched with potential nuclear warheads... I don’t know but I sure as hell hope somebody does.

Regardless how it all this ends.... we had a snow day today and made snowmen with our four children in 7 inches of wet spring snow. We are thankful and trust God and pray for his Mercy, though we don’t deserve it.

The latest, just reported on Fox News, is that an ‘accidentally’ declassifed portion of an intelligence analysis on North Korea was read in Congress today aloud, and it revealed that the U.S. intelligence community believes with ‘a moderate level of confidence’ that the North Koreans do indeed have the capability to put a nuke on an ICBM. The government has been lying to us for years, and the jug-eared pussy in the White Hut is probably sh!tting his drawers now that the truth is out.

This week has been particularly discouraging.

Taking it one day at a time, and praying. The sun has to come out sometime.

So the NGooks missiles are “mobile”, right? But they have to park them to fuel them up? So they are not really mobile then? And then after they are fueled there is no way in bleep that they are re-mobile. And the fuel truck(s) are mobile? Does anybody at Barnum and Bailey know about this? It’s starting to remind me of the way we tracked the supply trucks for Saddam’s beach defenses in Kuwait. As soon as we got the coordinates of the truck stops the USS New Jersey took over ( or was it the Missouri?) and re-seeded the desert with 16” ground seed thereby eliminating the need to re-supply. If you can’t run-and-shoot you are probably about to re-fight and re-lose WW I. And don’t forget both the Japans and the Souks have some pretty respectable tricks in their bags.

Military satellites, unfortunately, cannot park where you want them. To stay stationary satellites have to be 23K miles away and that’s a little far to see much.

Sure bert and everyone in Tennessee is an unquestionable perfect conservative.

Fact is even with commies like Pelosi who’s from NY, San Francisco has a bigger economy and larger military presence than your entire freaking state.

Take care burt.

NK does not have a deliverable nuke, period. They may, years from now. Their nuke yields have been very poor so far. One detonation was so weak, we couldn’t tell if the critical mass yield was greater than the explosives needed to set it off.

It is all about a missiles range and payload. The bigger the payload, the shorter the range, etc.

So far the NK nukes are so heavy they have to carry them by rail car. Their best missile has a 250 pound payload.

NK would need some very high tech critical mass reflectors to get any where under 1000 pound payload.

Why?

SF has always been a target..Massive economy, huge military presence, and probably one of the biggest harbors in the United States.
