These two jamocks are what is called low information people. someone should tell them that is was the stars and strips that flew over the slave ships not the CSA. I love country music but they do have some dumb rednecks.

The song could have had some merit had the LL Cool J part of the song also apologized for the black murder rate that’s 8 times the white rate, for the wild mobs that take over Daytona, Miami, the Zoo on free day, the utterly lawless areas of Philly, Detroit, and Chicago,,etc.

There are two sides to the coin. If someone is willing to own the accept the racism that does exist in some corners of the white community, i also look for others to accept that the black community should accept responsibility for it’s recent descent into sickening levels of feral behavior.

There are areas of many cities where my life would be in severe and immediate danger, if i were i foolish enough to enter. I know of no such counterparts for black Americans.

could not tell his audience to ignore the “dominant meaning” behind the Confederate flag. “No, you can’t just re-appropriate the symbol as you wish,” Touré added. “If you wear that out in public, as LL says in his verse, you’re going to make me uncomfortable.”

Tough, too bad, because I'm going to wear it, fly it, and play "Dixie" all day long if I want to. Don't come to Mississippi, our state flag will offend the h*ll out of you, and it flies over government buildings.

Let's be honest. It's not too far fetched to think a black person could see a rebel flag and associate it with slavery.

HOWEVER....

To associate something with people being brutalized 150 years ago would be much less intimidating than associating something with people being brutalized today.

It is just as logical to associate gold chains and baggy drawers with 13 month old babies being shot in the face, rapings, muggings, prison inmates, gangs, thugs, flash mobs, etc.....as it is to associate the stars and bars with slavery.

I think the point of the song is to say, I will let you live your culture if you let me live mine. I won't associate the way you dress with anyone other than you so don't do it to me. I will treat you as if you haven't raped anyone if you treat me as if I have never owned slaves despite our do-rags or Confederate flags.

FU Touré.

The US had 5% of the world's African slaves, and we had a bloody Civil War to end it.

Funny how you give the other 95% a pass.

Where did the Der Sturhmer drawing go? I wanted to copy it for my family (we are Jewish) and for others who have never seen it before.

Okay I am Black enough to say it, “What do you expect from a two bit goat smelling spook, whose main achievement is life is to be a token for elite rich Progressives on a bottom feeder network?”

I think that covers everything about this living cartoon that in Torue.

Toure’ is a young black man who has lived a privileged life, so he now has to prove he is “blacker” than anybody. It seems to me a lot of middle class blacks do this.

It was the Democrats that controlled slavery in the South and attacked the North to keep slavery. Then when they lost they came up with this segregation then this “separate but equal” nonsense. And of course let’s not forget the formation of the KKK which initially was to threaten and scare Republicans then drifted off into persecuting Catholics and Jews. Next came the lynchings. The Democrats have been evil since day one.
