Is “shorty” Haslam standing on a box
Republicans are just the right wing of the Democrat party.
And Democrats are just communists by another name.
anyone with any principles should have declined
I sure miss “B-1 Bob” Dornan. He wasn’t a Volunteer, but when there was a topic that outraged him you’d see him railing against it late at night on the floor of Congress - usually with no audience aside from the C-Span camera.
We need a few dozen Bob Dornans.
Great Britain has the House of Lords. We have the Senate.
Same damn thing.
Tone deaf.
Umm-these two were at this shenanigan yesterday? Why? Good heavens....Idiots, dimwits...curses, blast, foul....we Tennesseans deserve better than this!!!!
I wouldn’t go both out of a sense of principle as well as a purely selfish desire to be as far away from that place and those “people” as possible.
Who’s the seniorita?
Looks nicely robust...
With Republicans like Corker, McCain, Graham, etal, who needs democrats?
Republicans, Democrats same sh*t different piles!
Of course
theyre both big libs...
Corker has pushed an AMNESTY Bill for years...
OLA Roberto !!!
This is ridiculous. Tennessee can elect two CONSERVATIVE senators, and instead we get two mushy moderates. Alexander was a fine governor, and Corker was a good mayor. They are not what we need at that level.
Corker is not a bad guy. I did business with him back when he owned his construction business in Chattavegas. As the GC, he would personally deliver checks to the subs, on time. This NEVER happens in the construction industry. He is a very good business person and light years ahead of most Senators on what it takes to operate a small business.
No question, I have not agreed with everything he has voted for. But he is not the problem...not even close to it. We need more like Corker not less.
Sen. Bob “Bought-and-Paid-For” Corker of Tennessee parties at the White Hut while Memphis-based Gibson Guitars twists in the wind at the hands of the Obama Administration—Nice.
Corker is an enemy of liberty. During his first primary campaign for the Senate, his opinion regarding Kelo told us all we needed to know about him.
As for Haslam - it’s seems that it’s a good thing that the General Assembly is much more powerful than the Governor.
On a slightly related note, my iPhone autocorrects “Haslam” to “gas man”. I kid you not.
Corker is weak. Haslam is worse. And Lamar Alexander is the worst of the three.
You would think that a state that voted against Zero 59.41% to 39.04% and has a 2/3rds Republican majority in both houses of the legislature could do better than these three clowns.
I hope Steve Gill or some other Tea Party candidate enters the race against Alexander in 2014. I can’t bear another six years of that effete, mushy, reach-across-the-aisle disgrace.
What do think of Corker?
He disgusts us too
TN always splits conservo vote in primaries
