Took me a wiki-lookup, but now I recall her. She was assigned by Ashcroft to investigate the Marc Rich pardon (Eric Holder anybody?), and she whitewashed it, as was expected at the time. Ashcroft didn’t want to spend years investigating and prosecuting Holder.

What I find interesting is ... Unanimous approval? There isn’t one Senator that had a problem with her? Not even one? We are not in the minority. We don’t even exist poltically as we have nonexistent representation.
