Glad to see the the Rino twins are back on the Sunday morning scene. Suppose they will be pushing Amnesty.....right to vote NOW and border enforcement years in the future.

I still cannot figure out why we need a new "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" when all the pols need to do is ENFORCE CURRENT BORDER LAWS. /s

After considering this week’s lineup:

>This looks (with the possible exception of Fox) like a full-court press to sh**can the 2nd Amendment, complete with the requisite RINO or two to play whipping boy until finally ‘fessing up and joining the pogrom. (..and no, I didn’t misspell “pogrom”, ‘cause that’s exactly what’s going on.)
Only thing I’m questioning on this topic is if the comrades are truly in a last-ditch mode, trying to rescue THIS load of crap from final extinction before it takes them and The 0 down the toilet, or if it’s just the latest story line upgrade.
I’ll vote for the upgrade not only to keep on bustin’ Max Baucus’ butt on this every chance I get, but also because I’ve long ago learned that They Never Truly Quit.

>Yeah, AB, we DO need to keep watchin’ these [BLEEP]s.
I’ve only got two reasons for just skimming through the transcripts and otherwise using this thread as the real-time indicator of what actually needs to get an eyeball:
1) Two of the grandkids are sleeping in the only room in The Homestead that’s got a cable connection/TV set that works, and I won’t disturb ‘em with this stuff. Ever.
2) I’ve already heard this stuff, or variations on the same theme, each and every Sunday morning for the past 40 years. Only things that have changed is the Face du jour the comrades have put up that week, the Line Item on their checklist of Things About America To Be Destroyed and finally my decision to just read about it and save wear and tear on the TV sets.
(That last item took place during Grandma’s first full week as Missus UVNV and her observation of my conduct during MTP that fateful Sunday....)
Okay, so I’m just following orders and otherwise Have No Excuse.
I’ll still stick with that plan, and beg your indulgence for carryin’ me on this.
“Know your enemy and gather intel”? I’ll just point at the number of my ex-students still on that MIA list, plus experience and humbly claim that I’ve got that covered.
All I’m waiting for now is the horn to blow. And I don’t mean Gabriel’s....

pretty much...they're losing big on gun control & why?
simply put..it's b/c nobody trusts them, it's this week's power grab..every week/month/year/decade.
it shall never stop, until they have complete control.

Let metake a moment and point out something I learned on THIS thread....

....for Lindsay Graham on MTP now.

Freepers pointed out that both Graham and McCain ALWAYS favor anything involving war, or battle action such as it may be.

I’d never noticed this before.

And so this morn ole Lindsay’s on there espousing bombing North Korea.

Or something.

To me, little child Kim is naught but a child.

Korea is how America’s leaves its wars. Somebody tell McCain that leaving the country we are supposed to be “protecting” alone and in constant peril is NOT how to end a war.

I also add Vietnam to that equation....where millions died when America chickened out and left them to die in agony.

I am. She was so bad, I'm heading off to church now to seek some safety. I know I won't find her there. She went yesterday!

What happened to bray today? I always enjoy his meaty contribution.

Okay, couple of things, as I respond to myself with such class.

Those “mice” that Gerald caught were actually VOLES, an animal I know AB knows about.

And the reason the house was over-run by voles does have something to do with....MOLES!!

See of all the ways to kill moles....juicy fruit, poison pills, even great big traps that would horrify me to have to empty....the BEST....the absolute BEST way to get rid of moles?

THE MOLE “ALARM”.

You buy them at a hardware store, Walmart maybe has them. They are long stick like metal objects. Inside you insert 3 C batteries, then you plunge it into the ground near an active mole run. The thing emits a kind of chatter that is supposed to be some kind of warning to run, danger is about.

Believe me, I know mole runs, where they hide, their bad habits, how my compost spread lovingly around my gardens attracts bugs for the fertility of it and the moles like the grubs.

So anyway....I first bought one...I was skeptical.

Sent the moles in the back yard running....

....into the FRONT yard!

Bought two more of the mole sticks, plunged them into front yard....bada boom....moles all gone.

Now I also, especially in the front yard where I once had a garden fountain but no more, have voles. Little mice fellows that use mole runs rather than drill their own. One might call them welfare recipients but God did make them that way.

So once I put in the devices in the front yard....wow, the voles went nuts. Don’t know what happened to the voles but a bunch of them evidently ran INTO the house, I don’t know how but do any of us know how mice get into our house?

Now I got four cats and every oncit in a while a very dumb survivor-of-the-fittest...NOT....wanders into our home.

They don’t last very long, as you might imagine.

Now CATS are also, let me insert here, the BEST predator for moles. My cats, however, do not go outside but I reserve the right to send Gerald outside at night as a last resort against the moles.

Anyway....we had at least two voles inside the house and I suspect there were more, also signs of many in the garage, again, how they got there I know not.

It was cat hell for an entire day as all four cats, including the 14 year old who’s got few teeth and little energy...stalked the voles.

Gerald pounds on one got in the stereo, another behind the TV....as all other cats sit in envy and anger.

Gerald don’t care. He ain’t even remotely politically correct.

He got TWO mice while no other feline got any.

Gerald has lots of self-esteem.

He’s my boy, only cat ever loved me...big and loud as I am.

Then Gerald will sit next to a running vacuum cleaner and casually wash his paws.

Heh.

Sounds like Asa is worth watching.

I did hear him claim this is a political agenda for the left (disarming the citizenry) but not quite that clearly.

What I didn't hear him say is that the worst gun violence happens in places with the strictest gun control (Chicago etc) who also happen to be at the bottom of the list for prosecutions of gun crimes. Talk about blatant pursuit of that agenda at the expense of the very citizens they are assumed to protect.

I also didn't hear him say (in reference to his comment regarding keeping guns away from criminals and mentally ill) is that any violent criminals who commit crimes with firearms should be taken out of society and locked up.

This is also true of mental patients who may go off their meds and become violent with any type of weapon, they should not be allowed to run around loose.

Gangbangers should be rounded up, interrogated, investigated, and incarcerated, until the murdering hoardes are eliminated.

Violent video games should require registration and cross checked just like criminal activity and mental illness. Maybe the schools should start concentrating again on "Thou shalt not commit murder".

Of course none of that is gonna happen anytime soon.

The only rung lower would be a Sunday show where all the hosts interview each other.
DNC Dave: Tell me, guys, isn’t the president doing a fabulous job?

Steffy: Absolutely, Dave, he still deserves his halo.

Chris: But, but, but, things have never been better.

Bob S: zzzzzzzz

Good One ROFLMO

Graham or Schumer is very much like making the distinction between a pickpocket and a mugger.

After what seems like years of abuse, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only reason Linda Graham is scheduled on these programs is to piss off the folks in South Carolina.

The primary next year is gonna be so sweet.

I purchased Sudafed the other day.

Now I know you got to sign in, put up bail....and all that, for whatever ingredient is in Mucinix-D that clears up your head snot.

As I understand, Sudafed and the like is used to make some kind of designer drug...Ecstasy or something.

So because of this, you get this...have to show your driver’s license and sign for it.

First, they use sugar to make heroin. Should anybody buying sugar have to sign for it, show license?

I always complain because here is a gubmint method of somehow, probably not, enforcing some drug law by MAKING US DO IT!

First pharmacist, definitely low information, after I used the sugar analogy, shrugged. “It’s a crime, it helps catch them.”

I walked away, not bothering to mention if he would sign for sugar using his logic.

NO THINKING FOLKS!

Just, as Rush calls them, mind-numbed robots accepting what the gubmint says with no mind of how this thing most certainly harms the companies that make the product.

Start making people show driver’s licenses to buy something and that tends to put a damper on things.

Pharmacist yesterday....he agreed with me. Plus his helper in the back, she shouted out might have to sign for baking soda cause they use that in something.

We had a regular smiling powwow but what’s my point?

Y’all should thank me very much for my learning moment....

....as much as those two agreed with me....they really hadn’t thought about it.

Well I like Sudafed cause this bug I got from Mexico (beg me, I’ll tell you bout it) makes your body produce lots of mucous.

Nothing stops that sort of thing dead like Sudafed.

I only have to take it maybe two days....but it relieves the runny nose thing and God Bless America, why can’t I do this, after purchasing for proper price of course?

All over the place there’s pics of my driver’s license, my signatures....oh I dunno, I buy maybe a box a year.

But I’m out there. They’re looking out for me.

I still got my gun.

I do believe it was YOU, in fact, that pointed that out.

Which goes to show that as much as you think you know...if only in my case....there’s also lots you don’t know.

Or....simply....two heads most times better than one.

Kindly tell me exactly what Chuck "Kapo" Schumer has to say. He is so inspiring and has such mahvelous insights into our Constitution our Founding Fathers. I can't hardly wait. Please. Don't make me wait too long!

I bet Chucky doesn't say a word about Northrop Grumman closing up shop in NY and of course the government run media won't ask him about it.

I am giving $20 to the Freepathon, btw.

Figure it’s my share. At times I too mock the notion that the site shouldn’t sell advertising.

Truth is, when someone’s not playing around with the system, this site is quick loading, virus free and well designed.

Okay, I’m done.
