The Obama administration has gone to court to try to block a subpoena from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York seeking White House documents about the government's requirement of insurance coverage for birth control.
The subpoena requesting documents from President Barack Obama and his senior advisers would be burdensome to fulfill, the administration said in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Its time folks.
I think Obama has decided that Cardinal Dolan is all bark and no bite.
another Friday evening news release that gets lost in the week end.
Per the article, the justice dept is representing the white house in the subpoena fight.
He’d be right about that one. That idiocy known as the Al Smith Dinner should have put any questions about Dolan’s principles to rest.
Documentation File on the negative impact of the Obamanation Counterculture on America.

Popcorn time!
The Catholic Church is far from conservatives friends.
It is long overdue they pull their own weight in this BC/Obama-care case.
“The Catholic Church is far from conservatives friends.”
They can start by excommunicating Biteme and Pelousey, but they won’t!
>> I think Obama has decided that Cardinal Dolan is all bark and no bite.
Dolan is a fool.

Cuz’ they been doing squat for the last 2000 years. /s
Gosh, imagine if Conservatives actually supported Catholics standing up for religious freedom.
Hopefully the Alligator eats you last.
Post of the day!
If the excommunicated them, what repercussions would they face? Would they risk getting shut down, taxed, investigated, persecuted?
Question 2: Why does anyone who is so at odds with the church attend? If you believe in God, how can you possibly think you are doing the right thing if you are so at odds with the church?
What is in the hearts and minds of these politicians? What is in the hearts and minds of the church leaders? I find this hard to understand. How does either side justify its actions in the context of Christianity?
Here's a perfect case in point: These various Catholic organizations have taken legal action in opposition to various directives handed down by the Department of Health and Human Services. Kathy Sebelius, who is the Secretary of Health and Human Services, is supposedly a "Catholic." And yet neither Dolan nor anyone else in a position of authority in the NCCB can bring themselves to kick her @ss out of their own "church" over this.
This is perfectly consistent with a "church" that is allegedly opposed to ObamaCare, yet has no problem inviting Obama to a major black-tie fundraiser in New York City several weeks before the 2012 election.
