A Slick Marketing Campaign Won't Save ObamaCare

Uninsured: The White House recently released details about how it plans to market ObamaCare to the uninsured. What it reveals is that most of them don't want what the administration is trying to force them to buy.

In a series of slides posted on the Health and Human Services' website, the administration explains how it plans to market ObamaCare to the uninsured.

Let's leave aside for a minute the oddity of this effort. Its backers have endlessly touted ObamaCare as a miracle of modern government that will at long last bring insurance within reach of 48 million people who desperately want it. Besides, the law mandates that everyone buy ObamaCare coverage.

So why the need for a big marketing push at all?

Once you look at the marketing slides the HHS has produced, you find the answer.

Obamacare is a lie.

It was born out of lies and is carried on by lies.

It is a scheme to place the Government in charge of our lives, by breaking down and destropying existing health insurance.

Maybe “O” thinks if he can get gun control to fly, he won’t need “Obamacare” to control Americans!

But the “Perpetual Protection Racket and Unrealistically Unaffordable Care Act of 2011” will continue to lie there, a rotting corpse of a dinosaur resurrected from the DNA found in the former Soviet Union.

Our own Jurassic Park drama being played out in real time and in our daily lives.

There is one difference between what is now going on and a nightmare.

You stand a good chance of waking up from a nightmare. If a heart attack doesn’t kill you in your sleep.

Penalize the healthy if they don’t buy health insurance at exorbitant rates. Great plan Obama and Democrats. /sarc

The fines are low the first couple years (they are on an escalating slope) and can only be collected by garnishing income tax refunds.

So its free money to the govt that won’t be used to buy insurance. They will use those funds any way they wish.

My guess has always been that most people will not even bother to try to sign up for it. Just watch. Who is going to want to give the govt the ability to draft money out of their bank acct at will? Especially for 60-70% coverage.

We are back in the Al Capone days being forced to buy “insurance” so the gov’t can “protect” us. The only thing is we don’t recognize it. If you don’t buy “insurance” you will be punished just as good ole Al did back in his days. Buying “insurance” is on the rise and more popular than health care. Healthcare is on the decline.

Claim 10 dependents and there won’t be a refund.
