Life is a terminal disease. Throwing good money at attempting to disprove that theory seems ludicrous.
Gorush,
I watched my FIL die over the course of two years. He was was in his mid 80’s and very ill. The carte blanche medical proceedures that were permitted in his case resulted in a cost that exceeded the ammount of money he made in his entire lifetime.
On top of that, the whole process seemed very un-natural to me. I do not want that. My time is my time. I just want to finish well. Because of medical intervention, he did not finish well.
I am sad.
Hope you never get sick.

You’re sick.
Let’s all hope that none of your loved ones (if you have any) look to you for emotional support when facing a health crisis.
Sure, In the words of that famous Surgeon General. They would jus probably die of something or the other anyway.
You really want to align yourself with this moron?
I just finished chemo for a very treatable and curable (not just remissable) cancer.
It took 2 months and I’m done. The chemo was horrible, but I’m alive.
How dare you take such an attitude of who cares about trying to cure disease. How dare you. Sick.
If I were 80 my attitude would be different, but I’m 29.
I guess you would have rather me curl up and die from something that was easily cured.
