With an announcement of sweeping proposals to curb gun violence, Connecticut lawmakers said they are hoping to send a message to Congress and other state legislators across the country: A bipartisan agreement on gun control is possible.
Legislative leaders on Monday revealed proposals spurred by the Dec. 14 Newtown school shooting following weeks of bipartisan, closed-door negotiations. A vote is expected Wednesday in the General Assembly, where Democrats control both chambers, making passage all but assured.

So now when you buy amo for say a 9MM and you havent registered a 9MM they will look at the data base and see you havent registered a 9 so why you buyen AMO.
They will then get a lib judge to issue a search warrent to look for that 9.
The9MM is just an example,.scenarios abound

A little to the south of Connecticut in the People's Republic of New Jersey, we've been required to have a "Firearms Purchaser ID" to buy ammo since 2008. (Our gangsters being too dumb to drive across the bridge from Camden and Trenton to legally purchase ammo at a WalMart in Pennsylvania?) And we've had magazine capacity restricted to 15 rounds here since 1991. I would be happy to register 30 round magazines with the State of NJ, if I could only buy them!
If all these laws had been in place in Connecticut the week before the Sandy Hood massacre, would they have stopped Adam Lanza?
If anyone is wondering why all the jobs and people with marketable skills are moving away from the big blue states, the thinking that brought Connecticut to this is a prime example.
Now CT will be at least as safe as Chicago, NYC, DC...
If they would just ban creepy goth kids there would be more mass shootings.
These people are idiots.
Let’s see which criminal registers first!
This is bi-partisan? Gee, I wonder what the bill would like if the RINO’s opposed it?
Is it time yet, Claire...?
But will these new laws ABSOLUTELY PREVENT a Newtown from happening in the future? If they cannot answer YES, then it is all useless legislation.
Are the legislators willing to make themselves PERSONALLY LIABLE if their new gun law fails to prevent such killings in the future?
“Are the legislators willing to make themselves PERSONALLY LIABLE if their new gun law fails to prevent such killings in the future?”
Nope. The opposite is at work. Incrementalism. When these laws fail to prevent the next “Newtown”, they will get to work on even more restrictive laws, claiming the previous law “didn’t go far enough.” Like they did with Obamacare, liberals take baby steps towards their ultimate goal of full socialism, and their horizon is multi-generational. They create restrictive laws that are built to fail, with failure further justification for increased restrictions. Patient calculation is one of their greatest strengths. We’re up against pure evil.
