Mexico drug cartels sending top agents to run crime rings deep inside U.S. territory, AP finds

Mexican drug cartels whose operatives once rarely ventured beyond the U.S. border are dispatching some of their most trusted agents to live and work deep inside the United States — an emboldened presence that experts believe is meant to tighten their grip on the world's most lucrative narcotics market and maximize profits.

If left unchecked, authorities say, the cartels' move into the American interior could render the syndicates harder than ever to dislodge and pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping-and-extortion rackets and money laundering.

Cartel activity in the U.S. is certainly not new. Starting in the 1990s, the ruthless syndicates became the nation's No. 1 supplier of illegal drugs, using unaffiliated middlemen to smuggle cocaine, marijuana and heroin beyond the border or even to grow pot here.

But a wide-ranging Associated Press review of federal court cases and government drug-enforcement data, plus interviews with many top law enforcement officials, indicate the groups have begun deploying agents from their inner circles to the U.S. Cartel operatives are suspected of running drug-distribution networks in at least nine non-border states, often in middle-class suburbs in the Midwest, South and Northeast.

"It's probably the most serious threat the United States has faced from organized crime," said Jack Riley, head of the Drug Enforcement Administration's Chicago office.

Well, they don’t have to worry about being deported, or arrested, or even being called illegal.

“pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping-and-extortion rackets and money laundering.”

The Italian mob aren’t going to like that. Some of the cities in this country are going to see an uptick in violence, without question. Obama has ‘organized’ this country to the brink.

They have their tentacles inside of the U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. A former Border Patrol agent who was a spokesman for the Border Patrol was recently convicted in Federal Court in San Diego. That was not an isolated incident.

Is it any wonder? We give drug money-laundering banks a slap on the wrist and a pesky fine. This is the place to be baby!

Easy as pie.

1. Find a city headed by “Holder’s People”.

2. Sprinkle money and you’re in.

I would say that it won’t be just an uptick. It’s going to be Chicagotown, nationwide.

Well, our libertarian friends should like this since they’re all about open borders and mass quantities of dope available to the public.

“The Italian mob aren’t going to like that.”

This isn’t going to end well for a lot of innocent people who accidentally get in the way of the 2 warring factions. And a way it’ll be, soon enough.

Thanks, War on Drugs, for hyperinflating drug profits and channeling those profits into criminal hands so they can wage war on U.S. soil!

Obama’s crew has been arming them for the past 4 years. We’ve ceded a sizable chunk of Arizona to the cartels; warning signs of illegal traffiking were posted on public lands 60 miles from the border. We’ve had several ranchers, Border Patrol agents and a Sheriff shot by illegals. And I’m supposed to go “Boo hoo” for the idiots who won’t let us defend our borders? Sorry, Chicago, New York, DC. You asked for it, you got it.
