I know all of this sounds funny, but this little jerk might just BE crazy enough to do something stupid and dangerous.

So now what??They are full of bluster, while at the same time keeping the industrial zone in Kaesong open. So despite what the North Koreans say about war, they obviously don't want it to actually interfere with one of their only sources of hard currency.
It does seem like they've run out of threats. Maybe they'll actually cause some real trouble this time around. If so, I sure hope South Korea responds decisively.

And a way to extort more aid from the civilized world including the US. The extortion scheme worked before. He probably thinks it will work again. He might be right.

Or do something thinking that he will be able to pull back at the last minute. Only it will be too late.

I’m hoping they invade us at the Gulf of Mexico, somewhere around Corpus Christi. Easiest ammo run ever for all of us. And might even get one of those cool hats and camo pajammers they sport.

I wonder if the little creep might just give it a try. He might even be smarter than people give him credit for.
He knows we have a total jackass as president. One who probably would make excuses for abandoning South Korea if the rubber really meets the road.
I have read that N. Korea has a very powerful military with huge artillery stockpiles and guns which can reach most of South Korea’s most heavily populated areas.
I know if I was a North Korean and wanted a war with South Korea, now is the time I would choose.

I'm not surprised. If i were North Korea and I saw a nation that cant even decided whether or not only men and women should marry and elects a bumbling anti American secretary of state and defense, Id attack too. we look weak to the rest of the world

The South Korean’s have been taunting Lil’ Kim with advertised Military plans to strike the NorK’s. This is new, in the past the South K’s laid low and kept quiet, But their new Female leader is haviving none of it, and has entered the fray.

Now the idiot in NK keeps running his mouth and telling the people how he is staring down the imperialist US blah, blah, blah. His economy is in shambles and his people are starving. He is building this up to take their minds off their empty bellies.
He looks so stupid at this point, I'm starting to feel a little embarrassed for the pudgy little shrimp.

In earlier and saner times, I would say that Mr Un had a death wish.....but, in the time of Zero, right now, I think that maybe mr Un may be trolling for dollars.
His first "offer" was: I'm going to kill you all with a NORK nuke.
...DefSec Hagle(giggle)makes a counter offer.."we will kill you back"...
...maybe mr Un will make a counter-counter offer of: well...we may not kill you if you will send me 100 billion dollars....
...and the hell of it is that Pres Zero just may take that offer & let Mr un live to start another round of offers sometime in the future.

It was said today that if hostilities broke out, North Korea could hit Seoul with 500 rockets and artillery shells within the first hour wiping it out. Seoul is just 35 miles from the DMZ or 38th Parallel.
