North Korea announced Saturday that it had entered a "state of war" with South Korea and would deal with every inter-Korean issue accordingly.

I’m glad I am not on the DMZ right now.
Praying for our servicemen.(and women).
So now what??
Obama surrenders ??
If that’s the case, methinks Lil Kim will get a visit from China REAL SOON. China is not yet ready for a shitstorm on the Korean Peninsula, which would spread liked greased lightning.
O thought they were already in a state of war
This would be a great opportunity for an ass kicking, with Un providing the ass.
When Ivan warned things would get out of hand earlier today, I thought this felt like something more than the normal NORK tantrum.
A massive infusion of Food, Fuel and Funds, just like the Clanton Gang and Gov. Bill Richardson pumped into NorK’s economy. True to form, the NorK’s promptly sold the food on the open market, filled up their elite party members bank accounts and broke up the nuclear fuel rods that came in the reactor impeached former POTUS Billy Clanton gave them as a bribe to create a nuclear dirty bomb. The best thing everyone can do is ignore them.
If thats the case, methinks Lil Kim will get a visit from China REAL SOON. China is not yet ready for a shitstorm on the Korean Peninsula, which would spread liked greased lightning.
maybe the Chinese will tell Lil Kim that Obama is one of their agents ,so knock it off
Or how about a false flag attack?
It is a “double secret” war.
Well, his bow will fit right in there don’t cha think?
Now the idiot in NK keeps running his mouth and telling the people how he is staring down the imperialist US blah, blah, blah. His economy is in shambles and his people are starving. He is building this up to take their minds off their empty bellies.
Lets just hope Alan Alda doesn’t bring back MASH
Kim Jong-Un sends out ANOTHER strongly worded letter: “We will be very, very angry! And we will write a letter telling you how angry we are!”
Quick — get Dennis Rodman back over there!
I know all of this sounds funny, but this little jerk might just BE crazy enough to do something stupid and dangerous.
They are full of bluster, while at the same time keeping the industrial zone in Kaesong open. So despite what the North Koreans say about war, they obviously don't want it to actually interfere with one of their only sources of hard currency.
It does seem like they've run out of threats. Maybe they'll actually cause some real trouble this time around. If so, I sure hope South Korea responds decisively.
And a way to extort more aid from the civilized world including the US. The extortion scheme worked before. He probably thinks it will work again. He might be right.
Or do something thinking that he will be able to pull back at the last minute. Only it will be too late.
I’m hoping they invade us at the Gulf of Mexico, somewhere around Corpus Christi. Easiest ammo run ever for all of us. And might even get one of those cool hats and camo pajammers they sport.
I wonder if the little creep might just give it a try. He might even be smarter than people give him credit for.
He knows we have a total jackass as president. One who probably would make excuses for abandoning South Korea if the rubber really meets the road.
I have read that N. Korea has a very powerful military with huge artillery stockpiles and guns which can reach most of South Korea’s most heavily populated areas.
I know if I was a North Korean and wanted a war with South Korea, now is the time I would choose.
I guess that explains the “lights Off” condition they have instituted for the last cajillion years.
The South Korean’s have been taunting Lil’ Kim with advertised Military plans to strike the NorK’s. This is new, in the past the South K’s laid low and kept quiet, But their new Female leader is haviving none of it, and has entered the fray.
I take any 5.45X39 you find!
Prayers up for our servicemen and women in Korea, especially James, my brother’s stepson.
His first "offer" was: I'm going to kill you all with a NORK nuke.
...DefSec Hagle(giggle)makes a counter offer.."we will kill you back"...
...maybe mr Un will make a counter-counter offer of: well...we may not kill you if you will send me 100 billion dollars....
...and the hell of it is that Pres Zero just may take that offer & let Mr un live to start another round of offers sometime in the future.
I think Li’l Kim is on shaky footing at home.
War is the last resort for a tottering regime.
More stupid and dangerous than what the American electorate has done?
I keep thinking this is all a distraction for something else. What it is, I don’t know.
“Im glad I am not on the DMZ right now.”
My cousin serves at Red Cloud. They’re used to it effing’ everyday and believe me, they want these commie bastards just attack and get it over with so they can go home.
It was said today that if hostilities broke out, North Korea could hit Seoul with 500 rockets and artillery shells within the first hour wiping it out. Seoul is just 35 miles from the DMZ or 38th Parallel.
You forgot to mention a VP who is crazier than the Joker in the Batman movie and a POTUS who is obviously a psychopath.
A real president should have dropped a bomb on the north ages ago instead of playing footsie with the little tyrant and his old man. Heck if we had fought the Korean War to win, we wouldn’t be in this predicament. Since WWII we have entered conflicts only to fool around. There hasn’t been a decisive victory. Too many dang politicians meddling instead of letting the military do its job.
Doesn't that make the supposition that the SORKs just sit there and let it happen? Don't they (we) have munitions that basically reverse engineer the artillery/rocket trajectory and lay a huge barrage back on the source?
My nephew is there, 2nd Lt. fresh out of military college, his first deployment.
Excuse me, but how many "inter-Korean" issues are there, approximately? They've been in a "state of war" since, what, 1950?
Unfortunately, this ass has the ability to wipe out possibly millions of people.
An attack on South Korea ought to be suicide for these fruitcakes, but they're not necessarily dealing with a full deck.
It doesn't make for a terribly pretty situation.
“Don’t they (we) have munitions that basically reverse engineer the artillery/rocket trajectory and lay a huge barrage back on the source?”
These are conventional artillery shells and rockets. I don’t see us having any technology to stop anything incoming like that. We would just have to pinpoint their mobile locations and destroy them with guided bombs. Now we do have Patriot Anti-Missile interceptor battery systems set up along the DMZ in case they launched missiles like Scuds (what Saddam used on Israel) at Seoul. They will be useful.
yes they do, and they know where a good portion of it is positioned. However the north will get the first shots in. They have A LOT of artillery, all within range of the 20 million people in Seoul.
500 rockets and/or artillery shells would ruin the day for some folks but it wouldn’t come close to wiping out an enormous city like Seoul.
