I have always supported the public school system and plan to do so for the rest of my life.

Let the education begin.

Bright kid. I pray he doesn’t fall victim to the Republican machine. Politics corrupt everyone eventually.

We’re proud of you, Benji, but the “public school system” has become the Bus Ministry of the State Church of Humanism.

It is unrecoverable.

At least the Left knows that they must completely destroy the existing order to establish their new order.

We conservatives have yet to grasp the necessity of tearing down the old before construction of the new can begin.

The public school system, as it exists today, is really a government school collective, a monopoly, a single-payer entitlement program, and the largest, most expensive and most destructive one at that.

It must be completely abandoned so that new education formats can take over. Home schools, church and synagogue schools, school cooperatives, these are a few of the education paradigms that make education much more responsive to the needs of the students and the values of the parents.

The Noah Webster model of distributed education achieved almost 100% literacy before it was displaced by the Prussian model imported by Horace Mann and embellished by people like John Dewey and Carl Rogers.

REALLY! I read through, and he restates that after all the horror-story experiences, such as this one that shows the problemS:
In my Health class, also this year, our very first homework assignment included writing down four activities you do as a person currently and four things you want to do in the future. We were also assigned to present in front of the class.

In one of my four boxes, I wrote down that I was a conservative speaker. When I presented in front of the class, he asked if I supported the Tea Party. I said yes. He rolled his eyes and told me believing in the organization was “weird." He also told me he knew nothing about the Tea Party. This teacher then told me to explain, in front of the class why I supported the Tea Party, so I did.

When I left the class, I thought about what had happened. Why was I being called “weird?” Why was I being questioned so much?

The simple truth reveals that some teachers want to obstruct and block my personal views from looking valid. If a teacher asked why someone was homosexual, Atheist or Muslim and called what they believed “weird”, there would be serious consequences.

I decided not to report this to the principal because I realized it wouldn’t help. I had experienced the fallout from reporting prior instances and I didn't want a repeat situation.

Now that right there is a big mistake.

People need to start seeing public education as the indoctrination program it's become and realize we must get kids out of their or we'll lose our freedom for sure.

Smart kid. I have found that the most effective way to build a case in business is with a detailed timeline.

“...I attend a public high school in Appleton, Wisconsin. I have always supported the public school system and plan to do so for the rest of my life.”

He’s a smart kid - who is too dumb to see the system he supports creates and fosters the persecution and prejudice he suffers.

” He had been making over $100,000 with benefits for the 2010-11 school year, the same year Walker’s reform bill passed.”

There was a time when I used to say teachers aren’t paid enough. I was obviously wrong - in some places they are paid too much.

Must add, THANKS, Benji, for speaking out every chance you get. May you be blessed with many opportunities.

My concern is that you and your classmates are most definately being abused, and yet you seem to be in a sense minimizing (even after so powerfully showing the abuse, as in the section I posted above!) and even apologizing for your abusers and the system that gives them power over you.

What you describe is child abuse and it's endemic in the public school system. Keep your eyes and ears open and I think one day you will rethink your support of it.

I have always supported the public school system and plan to do so for the rest of my life."

I'd like to hear why. I wonder if this is just filler or something that needs to be said to cover one's rear when you're stuck in public schools.

I grew up in a public school. My mom taught in a public school. I have no intention on sending my kids to public schools and will be making sacrifices to put them in parochial schools. A fundamental part of understanding one's world comes through understanding scripture and through personal relationship in Christ. If our public schools are so interested in removing this element, I have every intention of removing myself and my children from them and consider them enemies of a proper education and proper values. The backward and failed methods of public education have caused enough damage to our society.

Later I’ll contact Benji directly and recommend that he ask his teachers the following:

1-Which of Obama’s policies do you think I’d support if he were white?

2-Would you oppose Gov. Walker if Teacher’s Unions weren’t a huge money laundering operation for Democrats?

3-Would Democrats support Teacher’s Unions if they weren’t a huge money laundering operation for Democrats?

4-Are there any Democrat programs that aren’t meant to maintain and grow a constituency dependent on government programs?

5-Doesn’t that practice make all government programs, large vote buying schemes?

6-Which of Obama’s programs are NOT designed to destroy the Constitution?
