A Pennsylvania man is facing several charges after wildlife officials say he went deer hunting in a Wal-Mart parking lot, according to CBS Pittsburgh station KDKA-TV.
The Indiana Gazette reports 40-year-old Arcangelo Bianco Jr. fired several rounds from a handgun at a 10-point white-tailed deer from within the Burrell Township store's parking lot, and then bagged the animal.
The alleged shooting happened last November, while Bianco was shopping at the store and then saw the buck in the parking lot.
The deer ran around a corner of the store, and Bianco hopped out of his truck, gun in hand, and "began firing multiple rounds at the deer," according to charging documents obtained by the paper.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission says Bianco faces a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment as well as several hunting violations, including hunting without a license, shooting on or across highways and unlawful killing or taking of big game.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 1

(1) Must be Walmart forgot to post their property.
(2) Venison from the parking lot is just as edible as from the woods.
(3) Nothing else was hurt. Wassa problem?

I wasn’t commenting so much on whether he was drinking, it was more of a: These things usually start with... “Jimmy...! Hold my beer!” kind of story.
Quite frankly, I’m with you...

Suppose another concerned citizen with a carry permit saw this guy running through the parking lot firing his handgun? He might have thought this “hunter” was a madman and taken him down.

I’m thinking there’s a “You might be a Red Neck if...” joke here...

You’ve got to know the area. Lets just say you could wade in the gene pool and not get your feet wet.

According to our local fishwrap, he brought down the deer with a handgun. That's some shooting!

That's some shooting! Good shot, but not too bright if he thought he could get away with it - I'm sure so "civic minded" citizen turned him in. When I lived in upstate NY I heard a shot, looked out the window and saw a guy getting out of a pickup and a down deer on the side of the road in front of the apt building. He dragged the deer into the truck and drove off. I kind of though he was an asshole for shooting in front of an apt building, but it never occurred to me to try and turn him in. Deer are a nuisance, and I was glad to see one of the one that waited alongside the road waiting to jump in front of my car gone.

The crime is poaching. This has nothing to do with hunting, very poor title for the article.

poaching.Wrong again. The method Arcangelo would use is braising , followed by long, slow roasting, or simmering with vegetables.
OK, this is appalling! Guy needs some time off the streets. Or a silencer.
