If a man wants to go to bed with a woman, he'd better marry her first. That shouldn't be too hard to understand.

There are both moral and practical consequences to disobedience in that area.

Before the widespread availability of contraception, women understood the severe personal and financial consequences, even apart from moral issues, to going to bed with a man before he promised, via marriage, to support her and her children.

Now that the economic disincentives have been removed and we're in a society that says, “if it feels good, do it,” we're finding out that lots of people acted morally for external rather than internal reasons.

While many of the financial consequences of extramarital sex have been removed by eliminating the risk of childbearing, the social consequences have not been. We're seeing the collapse of the family throughout the West, and that is not a minor issue to our survival as a nation and a culture.

That’s a failing of culture, not government!

So libs say it's exploitation to not pay an intern, while socons say it's exploitation to pay a bedmate.

If a man wants to go to bed with a woman, he'd better marry her first. That shouldn't be too hard to understand.

So we need a governmental War on Fornication? How will that work?

We're seeing the collapse of the family throughout the West, and that is not a minor issue to our survival as a nation and a culture.

And that happened while prostitution remained illegal - doesn't say much for the effectiveness nor relevance of that policy.
