The old adage ... 'Timing is Everything' ... may just be golden for you.

I hope and pray you are correct, and suspect you might be. Some of my work has long been timely, and as a very few Freepers know, I was blessed to do some big time, and I mean BIG time - ghost writing that was very widely heard...and literally became part of our national discussion. However, timing for my personal edification has been missing. Maybe that's changing now. Either way, I believe in what I do, and love doing it...so I'll keep doing it!

This cannot be repeated often enough . Congressional staffers and grossly over paid consultants need to be purged NOW!

Rove and Romney had no interest in WINNING.

They, again, were only concerned about making $$$$$$$$$$$$ (hundreds of millions each) and in destroying every conservative man and woman who stood in the way of their partner, George Soros.

This is correct. They are not stupid. They are not cowards. They are the enemy.

Oh, yeah, you are right - the sprint to be the first Republican to praise Hillary is much like the sprint to be the first Republican to be on record stating how smart the black guy is - and it’s all nauseating and all part of our defeat. (and it’s all in the hot new Amazon Best Seller!!!!!)

Actually, the GOP consultants really do believe their inside the beltway “must appease the moderates” stuff. I know, it’s hard to believe anyone can be so foolish...but they are.

Remember, it's a top to bottom thing with "the stupid party' ~ inasmuch as none of us know the secrets to winning everything, we have to go by the seat of our pants on much of it ~ for example, going with the winner is a basic in sports and gambling.

The GOP-e, and its coequal partner, the RNC, have abandoned that dicta.

For example, after the 2010 historic blow out victory over the Democrats, they fired the RNC chairman. After the 2012 historic blow out loss to the Democrats, they extended the new RNC Chairman's contract.

I am no longer certain any of the RNC committee members are competent ~ and I mean that in every sense. Senility comes to 75% of the population, but with the RNC it looks to be more like 100%, and with some of them still younger than me!

Do you like to be called C, Ed, Eddie, or Edward?
I think “C. Eddie” would be money in the bank. ;-}

Based this pen name off of the model used by R. Emmett Tyrell of the Am Spectator. He was “Bob” to friends and in person, and R. Emmett in print. I’m “Chuck” to friends, C. Edmund in print and in the media. Will probably evolve to just Edmund...or maybe turn C into Charles and go with all three names (lot of that going around now). These kind of shallow contemplations really do matter in this media driven world....but no, NOT Ed or Eddie please.

“For example, after the 2010 historic blow out victory over the Democrats, they fired the RNC chairman” The “RNC” didn’t have a DAMN thing to do w/ the “2010 historic blow out victory” the Nationwide TEA PARTIES did! GET THIS STRAIGHT!

Thanks - I liked that one too....Dick Morris wasn't so thrilled about it though. That piece is excerpted heavily in the book in fact. Some 15% of the book is excerpted from historical columns - for two main reasons:

A: If I have the audacity to claim that Rove and the establishment hasn't gotten it for years, the onus is on me to prove that I have....and

B: To read the words as they were written in 08, 09, etc, up until election day, gives an authentic feel, and a fresh crisp flow.

...and Boehner, to this day, has no idea what caused the election that gave him the gavel...ironically.

CEW is right, of course; however, that and a $1.50 might get you a cup of coffee. In terms of applicability in the real world, let's just say that a lot of people understand that we're well past the point of any political solution.

You can analyze the data and draw your own conclusions, but at the end of the day, there are $billions (actually, $trillions) at stake maintaining the status quo. That is, a system that is by and for the elites running the show, not those ostensibly being represented.

It's a nice fantasy to believe in the various myths and stories endlessly perpetuated about our so-called republican system of governance. But when people finally wake up and realize it's all a mirage, they tend to lose interest & drop out.

FR has lost a tremendous volume of traffic over the years, but where has it gone? I think this is true of both sides, which is reflected in the millions of voters who simply opted out last November.

Nothing lasts forever - where we're going isn't something anyone wants, but ultimately, the piper must be paid.

It is obvious to me, a formerly highly paid marketing guru (well OK, mediumly ... when.. and if... paid ... anyway) that you VRWC FReepers do not appreciate the incandescent genius of Karl (The Architect*) Rove.

Here is a high-school dropout who can take $BILLION -dollar budgets in support of a a dynamic candidate to back up a sure-winner of a cause,... and lose ... handily in most cases! I know, I know, it looks easy, doesn't it?

I know, I know. You're sitting there in Internet land in your pajamas (one hopes) and saying, "WTF, Kenny ... I, Me, I could do that!" And me hearty buck-o, you are 100+% correct. You could do this. You and I together could engineer a Rove-like FU on half the budget. No Frickin' problem, Dude. Show me the money!

But, we couldn't ever do it again. See, that's where the incandescent genius part comes in. This Karl guy can get the deal again ... and ... again. Like an aluminum siding scammer guy working the same neighborhood for decades ... he cons the drooling fools over at the RNC into investing with him... losing OUR money over and over again. That, my FRiend is genius.

To be scrupulously fair to you, you are working under several disadvantages. (a) You finished High School and took the bus to Penn State or equivalent. (b)Your father did not run away from home ... with another man ... as Karl's Papa did, leaving him to pick up the street smarts necessary to con the country-club ani of the upper reaches of the GOP out of OUR money.

OBTW, Karl's cut is a hefty 17.65%, and although I hate to indulge in shameless innuendo and am not in the least of a suspicious nature, as you can easily tell from my posts, that does leave plenty of baksheesh, lotsa "slush," plenty wampum, so that others ... even other consultants ... can come to the well and wet their beaks, Freddo. Heavens forfend! Karl's overriding Fabian notion:

WTF, we're all going to Hell in a Socialist Handbasket anyway.
My RINO Pals and I might as well get rich on the way!

*The Simpleton Roofer, Parsifal Hannity, whose brain is a life support system for his hair, gave Karl that nickname. He forgot that even the Titanic had an "Architect."
