No tax is temporary. Once imposed, it becomes part of the biosphere, harder to control than global warming (with which taxes have much in common).

Mega MILLIONS are available to NY in taxes and fees for fracking oil and gas, but Nooooo, they can't have any of that capitalism stuff happening on their beloved socialist turf.

There’s no such thing as a “temporary” tax. NJ’s inome tax was supposed to be temporary, but somehow it’s still in place.

This state has no future if it is going to be the tax capital of the nation.

He must not be totally stupid.

Good. NY needs to be knocked down to size, and who better to do it than Cuomo?

This is why elections should be by county. You win the county, you get 1 vote. Most votes win the state. This takes cheating out of the equation as well as disenfranchisement.

Going across the Verazzano and GW bridges gotta cough up $13.00 for the NY extortioners. Potholes are no charge however and there’s plenty of them. What a racket!

I bet Rush will be laughing on the air tomorrow. What a crappy way to run a state. Let NY and Ca both go bankrupt and start over. They could not end up any worse than they are now.

Funny - there doesn’t seem to be any mention of a special tax on high-earning New Yorkers in all those “New New York” ads I keep seeing on TV, about what a great place NY is to open a business - wonder why they’d leave that out.......
