Legislate in haste, repent at leisure.

This law was rammed through so fast and has so many holes, there is a very good chance it will tossed in total by the courts. Of course that won't stop Commisar Cuomo, he will keep ramming it through until he eventually finds a version that will pass legal muster.

They don’t repent. Ever. They never give up, they never give in, they just keep coming back and adding to the mess. It’s Rube Goldberg with police powers.

Heh. I like that. Catchy.

The mandarins who (think they) are in charge have erected a real house of cards. It will collapse. I will smile.

No surprise. They had to ram through a half-baked bill to capitalize on the "do something" hysteria that they fostered/. They'll issue a few corrections to show they're "listening" to feedback, but the camel's nose is inside the tent now, and that was the real goal.

Anyone know the status of the fellow who was arrested with a 30-round mag?

Is he out on bail? In the clink?

Nobody in public life today has the character to be embarrassed when they embarrass themselves.

I can see it now...

Future mass shooter is planning his attack to kill dozens..

but heck! he is foiled by this new law allowing him to only put 6 bullets in a gun that can hold 10!

ROFL

“Will the police be around to check how many bullets are loaded into each magazine?”

Not always, but it gives them something to check whenever you interact with one. And if you get caught with 8, you end up a felon and bye bye to your gun rights.

As far as the law making sense, THEY DONT CARE. It got passed so they consider it five steps forward. If they have to take a step back to fix something they are still WAAAY ahead. And when they take 1 step back gun owners count that as a victory for our side.

Not only that, things are bad at his home. His girlfriend cannot cook and has a shrill voice like a witch.

Exactly how would one load only 7 rounds into an M-1 Garand?

I have always wondered about the standing of the Cuomo’s with the Roman Catholic Church.

Are they still receiving communion?

Consider what Andrew Cuomo has been doing:

1) He openly lives in sin.

2) He pushed through and vigorously fought for the passage of gay marriage in NY.

3) He wants to STRENGTHEN pro-choice laws.

He and his father believe in the same things.

[[If Andrew Cuomo has truly had an epiphany about his approach to gun regulation, it’s not really evident from this admission]]

Now thaT californiarado just passed their ‘tough’ sweeping guns laws- NY will be right on her heels tryign to one-up them- this is NO longer about safety, but rather abotu trampling our constitutional rights and seeign how far they can push before the peopel will push back=- which oc course they won’t

We just had a supreme court ‘hearing a case’ about whether illegal alians have to provide proof of citizenship in order to vote in our country- thuis is how far we’ve sunk as a ‘nation of laws’ and we cna NO logner rely on even our supreme court to uphold our constitutional rights- NY and colorado are just the beginning folks- You’ll note that NOONE (except for only a handful of peopel who went largely unheard) stood up for their rights in either of these two states- the rest of the coutnry was watcvhing- and states were chomping at the bit waiting to see if they shoudl ram thropugh unconstitutional laws or not-

And if you get caught with 8

They'll plant the eighth if you forgot to do so.

The Cuomos are simple mob thugs ~ never expect a rational response out of such people. They will always arrange things to benefit whatever criminals might be around
