Police probe link to Middle Eastern prisoner whose transfer to Saudi Arabia was denied a week before the slaying
Officials in Colorado are looking at a possible connection between the shooting death of the head of the state Department of Corrections and a Saudi national who was recently denied transfer from a local prison back to his home country.
Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Kramer says Tom Clements, 58, was shot at around 8.30pm Tuesday when he answered his front door in Monument, north of Colorado Springs.
A family member called 911 to report the shooting. Officers who arrived on the scene found Clements dead from a gunshot wound to the chest in his home, 9Newsreported

I haven’t answered my door without a gun (out of sight) in 5 years. My sister won’t open hers at all. If they can’t make themselves understood through the door, then she just goes away.
Again, getting our news from the UK.
This was the guy brought his slave from SA with him.
Also, he is connected to Anwar al-Awlaki.
But the investigation should focus on peers and subordinates in addition to the inmates.
I have seen how this all works and there are animals on both sides of the cages.
Well, this is a bizarre turn of events.
I seriously doubt it was a random act.
And so it begins.
Nah, it had to be a gun totin’ Tea Party guy. /sarc
If only Colorado had banned high capacity magazines sooner, this could have been prevented.
They also had a story about that guy who blew himself and a house up today. Nothing in msm.
I was told that's how the Saudis do it.
You’d have thought something was amiss when they asked who it was and some guy in a heavy Arabic accent said, “Girl scout cookies.”
Ah, these Saudi Arabians are such sweet people. I hope that his fellow prisoners treat this character the same way they would a particularly despicable pedophile.
I have an idea-
The Department of Homeland Security should extend “trusted traveler” status to airline passengers from SA.

Makes sense.
No way it was random. I live just a few miles from this area of El Paso county.
Where this occurred is not in a densely populated area and the street/road only as a couple of entry/exit points. It’s one of those more secluded areas that the only people who drive on this road would be the residents or someone specifically looking for an address. Hell most people don’t even know how to access the cross street of where this shooting occurred.
Most of the lots in this section of the county are a couple of acres and with lots and lots of pine trees.
Definitely not a random act.
“Candygram”.
You would think he would have a few cameras around the property.
Yes you would since he is the second prisons chief killed.
