The Senate will vote Wednesday afternoon on whether to force the White House to start allowing public tours again one of a series of high-profile showdowns senators have scheduled as they push to fund the government for the rest of the fiscal year.

By all means, lets get those WH tours back on track.
But a budget....never mind. Not important.
Oh brother.
Only a Dictator would prevent the public from touring his palace. IN AMERICA, the White House should never be off limits to the public.. EVER.
The country is burning down around their ears, and the Senators are voting on tours.
Perfect.....
I’m curious to see who votes against restarting the tours.
Wow! Seems like the GOP is playing hardball with this one! ~heavy sarc
Unbelievable.
BenGhazi - NOTHING
FAST and FURIOUS - NOTHING
Stealing from the American people - NOTHING
Treason - NOTHING
Stoppage of tours - They get right on the case.
For the budget — I saw a cute picture of the White House with a smokestack with black smoke coming out of it. LOL!
Memo to Congress:
Because Sequestration levies 50% of all cuts on the US military despite it being 18% of the budget, Tuition Assistance cut for our military heroes has been eliminated, Operations and Maintenance for all services is being cut 40-60%, over 750,000 Pentagon civilians (45% of them veterans) who perform every service from maintenance to health care are being furloughed with a 20% pay cut, flying hours for the Air Force cut to the bone so much that pilots are going non-current, training for Army Brigade Combat Teams being cut by 80%, and on, and on, and on.
Fix Sequestraion! Who cares about White House tours?
It was petty of Obama and the WH to order them curtailed, it is petty to order them to re-open.
Now Congress wants to hold "hearings" as to why Tuition Assistance for the military was cut? Ummmmm......because you guys cut $46 Billion from the military budget in the middle of a fiscal year?
Unbelievable.
Now...about the Easter egg hunt. All the preparations would have been made by this time and it is a self funding affair....eggs and sponcers.
Moochelle and her offspring will be off on another taxpayer-funded Spring Break getaway/Lobster Fest. Bathhouse Barry will be spending a separate Spring Break private time with Reggie Love. That’s why the WH will be closed for DC Spring Break.
Ha ha. Expired money?
Good for Coburn...seems the White House seems to have "overlooked" areas of waste which can indeed be cut with no pain whatsoever.
Looks like the Democrats will be forced to pass this bill and embarrass the WH.
Your tax dollars at play.
He isn't doing anything to stop the cuts to the military. In fact, he is yet another GOP Judas Senator who is in deep denial.
Coburn: Sequestration Effects Exaggerated
Exaggerated Senator?
I'll take Clueless Senators for $1,000 Alex.
He may want to have one of his six figure paid staffers read what Sequestration is doing to the Department of Defense.
Shows you where Democrats place their values.
